This well designed cottage is in a really fantastic area and location.
We are a small farm, now non-working except for a few chickens and three sheep plus the natural wildlife such as stouts, badgers and birds of prey. The two cottages, Rose and Bryony, were converted in 2011 from former cowsheds by the architect Nigel Stock, and are furnished with furniture from Mark Product - our expanding high end furniture business. The design is contemporary with wooden floors and fresh colours. All amenities are new and to a high standard.
Both cottages are all on one level with views across fields and each has a private west-facing deck with seating and barbecue. You are free to roam over our eight acres with a stunning view from the top taking in the span of Cornwall from north to south coasts.

Flexibility in accommodation is available for larger family or a group of friends as we have an adjoining (sound proofed) door that will enable you to access both cottages.

For children we have a field with a swing and trampoline sunk into the ground and lots of space to explore and make dens. We are also close to many of Cornwall s finest beaches on the north, south and west coasts. The towns of Falmouth, Truro and Penryn are all close by. A perfect base for a Cornwall holiday.

Notes on accommodation:
All provided and included in price: Electricity, heating, Wifi, cot (advise when booking). High chair (advise when booking), towels, bedlinen, Smart TV, Ipod dock. Disabled access (enquire for details), wood burning stove (free logs), fresh milk and wine on arrival.
Please enquire about babysitting (extra charge).
You will enjoy great privacy. The cottages are detached and 12m from the main house, with all windows facing the main house having obscured glazed.
The cottages are attached to each other and may be linked via a passageway for larger groups. However as individual units they are designed for privacy with thick walls, private entrances and decks are not overlooked.

Outside:
The cottages are on an 8 acres site of farmland which you are free to roam.
Each cottage has its own private deck and fenced garden (dogs are allowed).
Decks have a barbecue and outside furniture.
Children have access to a play field with a swing and trampoline,

Delightful Rural Hideaway

By Brian & Dee on 07-Dec-2020

The cottage was exactly as described and pictured and made a superb rural hideaway tucked away within very rural Cornwall and yet just a short drive from nearby Falmouth and so many other local beauty spots. There are plenty of rural walks on the doorstep which proved ideal for dog walking. We thoroughly enjoyed it in mid-December so we are sure it would be a delight in any season of the year. We certainly plan to make a return visit in the future.

Bryony Cottage

By Phil Armstrong on 03-Oct-2020

This cottage was just right for our stay in Cornwall, close to Penryn & Falmouth but out in the country.
Well equipped, WiFi and somewhere to store my Mountain Bike. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden.
Would certainly choose to stay there again when we return to Cornwall.

Bryony Cottage

By Gill Strachan on 26-Sep-2020

We had a week in this lovely cottage. Beautiful country setting & so quiet. The cottage itself was perfect, warm, clean & well equipped. The garden was enclosed so perfect for dog or youngster. We took our dog & had the use of the fields to walk her - perfect. Short drive to the beach & towns. We would certainly return.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location

By Helen, Scott, Barney & Buster on 19-Sep-2020

We loved our stay in Bryony Cottage, it’s got everything you could possibly need for home from home. It’s a great base for some lovely dog friendly places to visit and the garden is perfect for dogs to scamp about in.

Happy days

By Mr And Mrs Pilgrim on 29-Aug-2020

The outlook on arrival was very nice,
The property was clean and airy.
We were greeted by Kathryn with a friendly welcome.
Also had a lovely rural setting.
The only thing which I felt coul be improved was the bed although it was comfortable it was to low which I found a bit of a struggle to get in and out off.
Having said that, the overall usability and location was good.
The kitchen was very well equipped and the woodburner was easy to use.
Free wood available. And we were given some free range eggs courtesy of the friendly hens.
Thankyou for a great break.
We would return.

Stay at Bryony Cottage

By Pauline Lewis on 15-Aug-2020

On arrival we were greeted with some biscuits and a lovely bottle of wine, and milk. The modern cottage was a great place to stay, it felt peaceful and ideal for a couple. We celebrated my partners 60th, so the wine came in handy. There were helpful notes left for points of interest. This was a great location as only a few miles from lots of local beaches/harbours, plus stumbled into Rick Steins restaurant and ate at Cribbs restaurant which was great in Falmouth.

Just to note though, more privacy needed with a blind/curtain at the back door as the bathroom is opposite, as other people that stayed often wondered past the back garden.

We would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

Thank you Kathryn

Light, bright and peaceful

By Kevin on 18-Jul-2020

5 minutes away from Falmouth but lots to do and see within 20-30 minutes. Really peaceful and relaxing place to stay with a garden and a light bright feel. The single story property feels more spacious due to the high ceilings, large windows. Bottle of wine on arrival and biscuits helped to make us feel welcome. Would happily stay again and absolutely love this part of Cornwall. Would perhaps be nice to have shade for the outside seats and a slightly better equipped kitchen but these are small quibbles.

Really nice location.

Off the beaten track but convenient for so many local attractions. Cosy too, so would be good for summer and winter.

Fun in Falmouth

By Andrew P. on 24-Aug-2019

We really enjoyed being at Bryony Cottage. Kathryn was really welcoming and very helpful and available throughout our stay. It felt like a home from home - well designed and easy to be in. Excellent place if you want to retreat. Cottage well insulated and a regular Watership Down with all the bunnies at the back at dusk!

Lovely cottage in super area

By Graeme M. on 27-May-2019

Great cottage, beautiful area with fine views, comfortable bed though a touch firm, maybe because it is new. Kitchen has all you need, great location for seeing all of West Cornwall with Lands End in under an hour and many fine harbours to see nearby. Friendly host but gave us our space. Great place for taking our dog, plenty of walking in the fields and rabbits to chase! Falmouth expecially dog-friendly including good restaurants. This Will definitely return again in the future.
