Back to nature
By Anthony Percival on 16-Feb-2024Back to nature! A true escape to the countryside in a peaceful and stunning location. It's so quiet, great chance to unwind, switch off and re charge your batteries. A lovely spacious barn conversion with absolutely everything you could need with great attention to detail. It had all the home comforts so you could make a proper meal, like pots, pans and oven trays etc but also had local takeaway menus and information on the local pubs. We even ordered a mobile masseuse to the barn. relaxing in the hot tub looking out on green fields is something else, not a car or building in sight. Our two dogs loved all the local walks, helped by a laminated guide inside the barn, which you can take on the walk to help if needed. First rate communication from Lin on WhatsApp throughout to put our minds at rest, nothing was a bother, so helpful. We will be back in the future! Ant and Amanda from Wirral
1 Beacon View Barn
By Robert Paul on 01-Sep-2025"We arrived at the accommodation, it was lovely and warm on a chilly evening being end of September, The accommodation was lovely clean, furniture comfortable, We had our little dog with us we checked the garden and no escape routes lol, Being country side the roads are narrow being mainly country roads." We had the pleasure to meet Lynn when replacing a complementary bottle of Prosecco, I didn't see any rules that pets not allowed on the sofa but we put one of our throws on to protect the sofa as our dog loves being on our furniture. The accommodation is disabled friendly but I would suggest if you struggle standing while showering take a shower tool with you there is loads space in the shower We definitely recommend booking the Beacon view barn the views are absolutely stunning, Thank you Lynn and family for our lovely stay
1 Beacon View Barn provided us with everything we needed during our stay and more!"
By Melissa on 12-Dec-2025! The views were breathtaking and the weather meant we were able to experience the setting in the sunshine, rain and snow and I still can’t tell which one was my favourite. The inside of the barn made it feel like a home away from home and was perfect for us and our two dogs. Facilities were exactly what we needed and there wasn’t anything that we thought was missing. Amazing location and we can’t thank Lin, James and family for allowing others to share this great place!

"1 Beacon View Barn provided us with everything we needed during our stay and more!"
By Suzanah Harrison on 07-Apr-2025We have just returned from a great stay in 1 Beacon View. We were very lucky with the weather as our stay meant warm sunshine and no rain! The accommodation was very pleasing, with all the things needed to ensure that our stay was easy. We took our dog, the garden is fully enclosed, and there were multiple walks from the doorstep. Best part was the hot tub, looking out over the fields and watching the sheep! Thank you for having us
