Kate and Ian are truly the perfect hosts. Committed to giving great service but at the same time allowing guests the freedom to enjoy their stay in private. The support team were also very friendly. The location is truly amazing with miles of pristine forest to wander, young deer to watch from the hot tub every morning and red squirrels in sight, if you are patient and observant. The facilities are also excellent - with hot tubs, indoor pool - with lovely view of stags on the adjacent deer farm - and a games room with table tennis, table football and pool. There is also a wonderful outdoor tennis court which commands magnificent views south. I have already spoken to my grown up children about coming again and it may become an annual pilgrimage
We had a family weekend break here and had all three cottages which were fab, great place with games room and pool, kids loved it, will be back in the future
Not a single bad thing to say about The Old Stables, just perfect in every way! Amazing location, amazing facilities, just the perfect getaway location with family. 10/10

This is our 5th stay at Newhills and it was wonderful again. Kids love the pool, daily tennis & forest walks. Sitting outside in the hot tub is bliss. Houses have lots of extras to make the stay as easy as possible. We will be back.
