Description

House in Stronchreggan, Treslaig, Nr. Fort William, Scotland - A Single Storey House, Sleeping 6, With Tranquil And Stunning Views Of Ben Nevis And Loch Linnhe
Dalendrien is a single storey house, sleeping 6, stunningly positioned on its own peninsula on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe. a long sea inlet running from the Isle of Mull inland to the slopes of Ben Nevis, and sits on the quiet north shore of the loch just off the scenic road which runs from Fort William to the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula. It nestles in three acres of grounds with shoreline and slipway, some 25 miles from Fort William and 8 miles north of the Corran Ferry at Ardgour. The house has deceptively spacious rooms which have magnificent views looking over the loch to the mountains of Glen Coe and Ben Nevis itself. The house is comfortably furnished with loch and mountain views from most rooms. The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom with wash basin, (a cot and extra folding bed for a child are available), spacious living/dining room with open fire, conservatory, and a large kitchen that is very well equipped.

Lovely to stay at Dalendrien

By Stephanie Jenkins on 24-Jul-2023

We had a very lovely stay. The weather was a bit miserable but despite this we had a very comfortable time at the cottage. The view of the loch was wonderful. The wildlife - birds, deer, red squirrel and pine Martin were fabulous to watch. The house was the best stocked holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in - very well equipped kitchen and great selection of games, books and films. 7/24/2023 at 9:23 PM You responded on 7/25/2023 at 10:15 AM I am very happy that you had a good stay and also saw some of Dalendrien''s wildlife! Thank you for being such lovely guests.

Incomparable rental and location

By Tom Ross on 16-Jul-2023

The house and setting are gorgeous, any time that we were sitting inside was spent in the sun room taking in the view of the shore and Loch Linnhe. The house was spotless and Nicky has provided everything you require for a comfortable stay, including written instructions, as required; she is an excellent communicator and caring hostess. Unfortunately, we had abysmal weather (pouring rain) during our week which is not good when the majority of the local activities are outdoors. 7/16/2023 at 9:44 PM You responded I am so happy that you enjoyed Dalendrien although it is such a shame the weather was not good. Sadly, that is something out of my control! Thank you for leaving the house so clean and I hope that during the rest of your stay in Scotland you are able to get out and about enjoying all there is to see and do - with drier weather!

Excellent porperty

By Carol Lingard on 14-Aug-2023

Well equipped property with fantastic views. We fished on the beach near the old jetty and managed to catch 9 pollock between us. The deer and sheep visited the garden and the peace and quiet was wonderful! The weather was better than we were expecting and we had a great time exploring the wider area. Thank you! 8/14/2023 at 4:22 PM You responded Wow 9 fish, that is wonderful. I am so glad that the weather was kind and I hope that it continues during your visit to Skye. Thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy. You are welcome back in the future.
