Description

House in Stronchreggan, Treslaig, Nr. Fort William, Scotland - A Single Storey House, Sleeping 6, With Tranquil And Stunning Views Of Ben Nevis And Loch Linnhe
Dalendrien is a single storey house, sleeping 6, stunningly positioned on its own peninsula on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe. a long sea inlet running from the Isle of Mull inland to the slopes of Ben Nevis, and sits on the quiet north shore of the loch just off the scenic road which runs from Fort William to the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula. It nestles in three acres of grounds with shoreline and slipway, some 25 miles from Fort William and 8 miles north of the Corran Ferry at Ardgour. The house has deceptively spacious rooms which have magnificent views looking over the loch to the mountains of Glen Coe and Ben Nevis itself. The house is comfortably furnished with loch and mountain views from most rooms. The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom with wash basin, (a cot and extra folding bed for a child are available), spacious living/dining room with open fire, conservatory, and a large kitchen that is very well equipped.

The most ''WOW'' property we''ve stayed at!

By Sheree Stray on 29-May-2023

The most ‘WOW’ property we’ve stayed at! Wow, what a stunning place! The location and views are unrivalled, the comfort and warmth of the house will have you never wanting to leave! The house has everything you could possibly need and the beds are unbelievably comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, the showers are hot and powerful. The setting is completely private and you will just stare at the loch and mountains all day. I would wake up super early just to see the view again and head down to the loch. Each night we were visited by Deer in the garden right outside the huge windows, the Pine Marten also visited at the same time each day. So much wildlife! It’s a true fairytale property. 5/29/2023 at 9:02 AM You responded What a lovely review, thank you. I am so happy that you really enjoyed your stay in Dalendrien, and all that the house and its surroundings had to offer. I particularly like guests to have a home from home feeling. The sighting of the pine marten was a bonus as they are very shy creatures.

Three weeks of staying in your beautiful place

By Debbie Scott on 23-Apr-2022

What can I say, three weeks of staying in your beautiful place known as ''Dalendrien ''. We had an amazing time, the view of the loch and Ben Nevis and your stunning bungalow. I can say this is the first holiday where we have been happy to stay at base for the entire day and we did this quite alot during our stay. The bungalow is just perfect and the grounds around as well and having the shoreline is a bonus. I even loved the front as you come down the drive and get pass the wooden gate and see the loch from the side of the bungalow and the trees, with the wildlife as well, just amazing. Thanks for being the perfect host and for letting us stay at your family home. If you could add to the visitors book as did not add comments whilst we was staying as did not want to leave. With kind regards Debbie
