Description
Robbie`s Retreat sleeps 2 and benefits from being all on one level. There is one step up to the front door which leads into the kitchen/dining/lounge area. There is a dining table for 2,a comfy sofa and a wall mounted TV.The master bedroom has a 5 foot king size bed.There is one step up to this bedroom. There is a shower room with basin and toilet.
This is an ideal cottage for visitors looking for a relaxing break in scenic countryside.
There are footpaths from the farm including one to the local pub which serves meals.
Cycles can be hired on the farm for the more adventurous
What to do in the area.
Take a tour of Whittakers Distillery at Dacre Banks (3 miles)
Book a LLama Trek or experience at Wilsill (5 miles)
National trust properties in the area include Brimham Rocks within 4 miles and Fountains abbey 11 miles away.
Spend a day in Harrogate and visit RHS Harlow Carr garden and treat yourself to a meal at Betty`s cafe on site
Go for a walk around numerous Yorkshire water reservoirs including Fewston,Thruscross,Swinsty and Scar House
Go star gazing in the Nidderdale National Landscape.

A lovely cottage in a gorgeous setting
By Karen Weeks on 09-Jun-2025The cottage is beautifully presented and sparkling clean, with thoughtful and practical touches e.g. clothes airer, LED night light. We appreciated the delicious welcome treats on arrival too. The cottage is just the right size for two people and parking is available directly outside. There is plenty to do in the area and we highly recommend the walk into Darley direct from the doorstep, across the stunning landscape. It is possible to extend the walk to incorporate Birchfield Farm where delicious homemade ice cream awaits!

Excellent location,spotlessly clean
By Susan Sellers on 27-Jul-2025The only thing that we would have liked was somewhere comfortable (with optional shade) to sit outside. There is a table and chairs but it would have been nice to enjoy the lovely evenings in comfort. Everything else was wonderful - including the weather!
Great holiday
By Margaret Hunt on 13-Jul-2025We booked to go to The Great Yorkshire Show, but needed somewhere Nr Harrogate to stay. Robbies retreat came up in our search. It ticked all the boxes for us. We visited a few places and really enjoyed our holiday. I couldn't get comfy on the sofa, but that is just me. My husband was very satisfied with it.
Excellent holiday cottage
