Description
This 5* rustic-indusrial barn sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. Zinc has striking interior design, beautiful artwork, vintage furnishings and modern amenities, underpinned by a sustainable ethos.The modern kitchen, fitted with large induction range cooker, fridge/freezer, laundry facilities etc, blends in with the quirky rustic industrial theme throughout the property.
The king bedroom (ground floor) has an en-suite shower, whilst the super king (first floor) has an en-suite bath The super king bed can also be made up as 2 long singles, if preferred.. A spacious twin bedroom, with desk for homeworking, (ground floor) complements the bedrooms. Off the first floor mezzanine there is a large family bathroom with feature modern bath, separate shower, w/c and antique wash stand.
A ground source heat pump provides hot water and underfloor heating throughout. A wood burner provides cosy ambience when required. Whilst outside there is an EV charging point, private parking, together with an undercover BBQ area, in the fully enclosed garden area.
Zinc sits within nine acres of beautiful grounds featuring fields, streams and ponds, all of which you're welcome to explore, just make sure you bring a picnic.
Dogs are well catered for and have their own dog house, with space to relax and sleep. Homemade dog treats are provided, along with a dog towel, throws, outdoor hot and cold dog shower, dog blanket and poo bags. The enclosed courtyard and 9 acres of grounds ensure their stay is as welcoming as yours.
The central location means that you're ideally placed to explore the many fabulous beaches that Pembrokeshire has to offer as well as some charming towns and villages.

Wonderful Stay
By Elizabeth Burak on 16-Sep-2025From the moment we stepped into the property we knew we were going to be staying in a very special place. Zinc is beautifully decorated and full of quirky details. All the bedrooms are well proportioned and so comfortable. The bathrooms are terrific with great showers and baths. The beds are really very comfortable. In the kitchen there is everything you need for feeding the troops. A really lovely touch was the apple crumble cake that Karen had baked for us together with dog treats for our dog Presley who gave them the paws up! The living area is well furnished with dining table and chairs and bench. There are wonderful chesterfield sofas to watch the flames in the highly efficient log burner or to take in all the wall decorations. Upstairs is a bedroom with bath and a mezzanine area to chill out in. Again beautifully furnished. The whole barn was absolutely spotlessly clean. As the weather wasn’t great we didn’t get to use the outside space much but it was very impressive and I guess we will just have to come back in better weather. That said the circular walk was very well used and Presley particularly enjoyed mooching along by the lake and the river. Zinc is really well positioned for seeing all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Whilst there we visited St David’s, Solva, Newgale, Pembroke, Bosherston, Tenby and a Haverfordwest. Rob and Karen were outstanding hosts and gave great advice for our stay with their barn guide and take away suggestion. All in all we had a wonderful stay. We would love to come back and thoroughly recommend Zinc. Stayed September 2025

The welcome pack was excellent, both in terms of the information provided on the local area, and also the delicious cakes, chutney and chocolate provided for us - including home made dog treats. A Wonderful Stay
By Anita Wright on 10-Apr-20255 STAR. The most thoughtful and beautiful stay we've ever had. Rob & Karen have created a stunning property and the lands around it are a joy to walk. Very convenient location for driving around all of Pembrokeshire - everything within a 45 min drive in any direction. Also a 3 minute drive from town/supermarkets/petrol station yet feels tranquil and secluded. The property is extremely well equipped with everything you might need. We were able to have wonderful dinners, and (but for the rain) could have had a great bbq. Whether you're a couple, a small group of friends or a large family.. we could not recommend it more.
