The House is light, spacious, and private with a beautiful large garden at the edge of the exclusive village of Helford. Access to great walks to nearby Frenchman’s Creek.

Helford village is a very special place, situated on the banks of the Helford river on the Lizard peninsula. The village has a pub and a shop and a sailing club (which allows temporary membership). From the house as well as a (fairly steep) walk to the village, you can easily take the foot ferry to Helford passage (great pub and walks); walk to Manaccan (another great pub), and walk to Frenchman’s creek along the river bank. Nearby are so many wonderful beaches to explore, and you can easily hire boats and kayaks to explore the river. It’s a great place to explore by bike too, bikes can be hired in Helston. The Lizard is a fascinating area and a central location for exploring West Cornwall.

2 large reception rooms (I upstairs and 1 downstairs); 3 king size bedrooms, 2 twin rooms. Kitchen and utility room; 3 bathrooms

The house is a much loved second home and we have set it up with everything you need for a holiday. Travel cot and (portable) high chair by arrangement. There is a huge very private garden. There is a lovely goldfish pond near the main door so young children must be watched near it. We say sleeps 8 but could allow extra young children. One well behaved dog by arrangement but is not allowed on any furniture. There will be an extra cleaning fee for a dog.

Thursday from 4pm to Thursday 9am usually

The property is easily reached by car and there is parking for up to 3 cars. Be warned the lanes nearby are very narrow.

10% deposit on booking; 50% 2 months before arrival and remainder 1 month prior to arrival
