White Roses

By Mrs Anne-marie Norman on 17-Mar-2023

We had such a wonderful time at White Roses, we were 10 in total, 2 families, all adults. There was plenty of space. The kitchen is large and seated us comfortably and is very well stocked with crockery, pans and utensils. 10 of us could sit in the sitting room for games and the additional conservatory sitting room provided break-away space. There are fabulous walks and a well stocked shop across the road. It’s really quiet despite being so close to A40. It suited the needs of our group perfectly and would definitely come back.

A group of 10 of us stayed here and absolutely loved the place. Rooms were clean and spacious and the welcome hamper of local produce was a really lovely touch! Check-in and check-out out was really straightforward with the owner and she was really quick to respond to any questions in the run up to our arrival. The house is pretty much straight off the dual carriageway but we weren’t disturbed by traffic noise really, and the shop round the corner was really well-stocked with everything you could need during your stay. It was only a 20 minute walk to Symonds Yat and felt very central for walks, pubs, attractions and activities. Would definitely stay here again :-)
