Leave ReviewFabulous house for a big family holiday.
By Mrs Davenport on 20-May-2025We had a fabulous family week away in this lovely house. The open plan layout was great for socialising and the kitchen was particularly well stocked with lots of large pans, utensils, crockery - ideal for a large family who enjoy cooking. The garden was secure with super views and surrounded by fields of sheep and new born lambs. The hot tub was kept immaculately clean and checked each day by the site manager who was very helpful throughout our stay.
Blackdown Views is an exceptional property in the most idyllic location.
By Tony on 05-Mar-2025A wonderful family break at Blackdown Views, Devon. We have stayed for four fabulous nights at this wonderful house. Blessed with perfect weather and some excellent fishing. As well as catching lots of carp in Marlpit Lake we were also able to fish in both Home and Ram lakes at the nearby South Farm fishery. Here, we all caught well with carp up to 12lbs and bream up to 5lbs. We ate locally at the Merry Harriers at Westcott, The Sidmouth Arms at Upottery and the Drewe Arms Inn at Broadhembury. All were excellent with the Drewe Inn probably just the best but also the most expensive. Despite it being very cold at night the eco friendly house was always warm and the wood burner very efficient. Justin at South Farm was very helpful on fishing techniques and always happy to give advice and guidance. We will definitely be back. Tony, Jo, Tom, Anthony, Anna and Seb the Lurcher who loved both the local countryside walks and his seaside stroll at Sidmouth.

Beautiful property and good customer service
By Annelie Nel on 18-Jul-2024Beautiful property and good customer service. The property was open plan, allowing in a lot of natural light. The Kitchen had most things we needed (although salt and pepper would have been a nice add on) and the jacuzzi was the perfect addition for our group. Nature around the property was amazing and peaceful with no noise to be found. Other properties were far enough to not be disturbing and the woods close by is beautiful for a walk. Staff were very helpful and with very quick response times. We needed some last minute changes to the property and Justin was very quick to come and make the changes… service with a smile. I will definitely consider this property again thank you
A great stay at Blackdown Views
By Stephen Yeoman on 31-Jan-2024A good company to deal with and we felt they focus on giving a good customer experience. Very prompt and helpful with answering our queries prior to booking and in the run up to the stay and in accommodating our requests. Blackdown Views is in a wonderful location with glorious views; the house is very well maintained and equiped, and manages to combine a sleek modernity with a homely feel. There''s lots of thoughtful touches and we couldn''t think of a single thing to improve the place. We hope to return!
