We stayed at this property with our Aunt and Uncle . Over many years we have stayed at many self catering cottages , this is without doubt the best we’ve stayed in . Comfort , cleanliness, location , space are all excellent . The manager Sally is friendly and very helpful . I can’t think of anything that was missing , or could have been done differently. Stay here , you will love it !
Recommend a stay at Dairy Barn to anyone

We were a party of six of a certain age and found the Barn very clean and comfortable. It had plenty of room and was very well equipped in a lovely location. The manager Sally was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend a stay at Dairy Barn to anyone.

We had a wonderful time exploring the Isle of Wight. Dairy barn was very well situated being located in a quiet country lane and within easy distance of most attractions. The surrounding gardens offered ample opportunity for relaxation. The dinning hall table was excellent for completing one of the several jigsaws that were available. All our needs were exceptionally well catered for, in particular a well equipped kitchen and all bedrooms being en suite. Thank you for a delightful stay.. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the diary barn for 3 nights during our holiday to Isle of Wight, the property is very spacious and tastefully decorated throughout, check in was very smooth and Sally was very helpful. Would recommend it to anyone who is considering visiting Isle of Wight.
We highly recommend it

We have never been to such a well equipped, and well maintained, self-catering property. The only thing missing was a wok, everything else you can think of was provided. The whole property has been completed to a very high standard. It is in a lovely rural setting, on a working farm, mostly Highland cattle.
The converted barn contained just the right accommodation that we were looking for, and we highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a fabulous week in this excellent accommodation. A beautiful rural location, fabulous walks from the doorstep with lots to see. A warm, friendly welcome on arrival got us off to a great start. We loved it!
Fantastic place to stay
By Lynne J on 23-May-2018
This is a fantastic place to stay. We felt right at home and being visited by the Manager and the owner, they were both very personable and gave us tips on where to visit. We were provided with tea, coffee and milk and what was a bonus was the homemade scones and jam.The property itself felt like it was brand new, because of the freshness, paint and decor. It had that old world charm that you would expect from a farmhouse, but nothing was tired and dated. It was roomy, beds were so comfortable and we had everything you could ask for. We would love to stay there again. I thought it was real value for money. Hearing the cows moo in the morning made you feel glad to see a new day in this fantastic property. We sat every morning and every evening in the courtyard. My only criticism was that there were no sun loungers as sitting on the wooden bench for a while was a bit uncomfortable. I would reccommend this property to all .
Will certainly return

Fabulous. From the friendly & personal welcome to the soft furnishings, The Dairy Barn is lovely, even better than the photographs.

It’s a beautifullly furnished and clean residence and they went further by decorrating it.for Christmas and providing a decorated tree too which was so kind as we had all traveled from different parts of the Uk and Japan .Help and Support was at hand very promptly.
Created some lovely memories and we can’t thank you enough . We would love to come back in the Summer.
Thoroughly relaxing stay
By Chris & Ruth H on 18-Aug-2017
We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at the Dairy Barn. Slept really well in the comfortable beds and tranquility of the country lane. The children particularly loved the garden. Sally is a very welcoming and helpful manager. It was our first visit to the Isle of Wight - plenty of opportunities for fresh air - walking, cycling and beaches. We will definitely be back again in future.
exceeded all our expectations

The accommodation at Dairy Barn exceeded all our expectations. Clean, well maintained, great customer service from Sally and we would not hesitate to recommend it anyone. A wonderful quiet spot with many attractive walks within easy reach. We were blessed by great weather but I feel sure that we would have enjoyed a wet week just as much in such a beautiful spot. We will be back!!
Good as the photographs!
By John C on 21-Aug-2015
The Dairy Barn is one of the few holiday properties we have stayed in which was as good as the photographs! It is really well designed and equipped and was a pleasure to stay at. While it is in a quiet location it is not cut-off at all. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
very high quality cottage
By Michael And Kathryn H on 19-Jul-2015
We already knew this was a very high quality cottage because we have stayed on two previous occasions. Sally, the manager, is always very welcoming and friendly and the barn is immaculate in terms of cleanliness and quality of furnishings and facilities. It is a good location on the outskirts of Wroxall, near Ventor and on a bus route.
We are sorry that it is not considered suitable for children The large garden is across a small road and has a stream on one side and the door of the barn opens into a parking area which is used occasionally by farm vehicles, but these are the only safety issues we can see.
We have stayed in the barn as a base for walking holidays including walking round the coastal path using the bus services. it is a very comfortable place to return to after a 20 mile walk.
We thoroughly recommend Dairy Barn and expect to return ourselves at sometime.

Dairy Barn is a great place for a holiday
Wonderfully equipped, beautifully clean and very well looked after. It is spacious, warm, light and airy.
We much appreciated the large table and padded bench in in the very ample sized kitchen. Much time was spent around it eating, drinking, talking, reading the papers and planning our day.
We found the up to date information re local activities very helpful.
We appreciated being met by the manager on our arrival and greatly enjoyed the alcoholic 'Welcome pack'!
We would thoroughly recommend this property to friends and family.

Well maintained; superb accommodation; tastefully furnished and decorated; excellent facilities, and everywhere spotlessly clean. Sally Richards, the property manager if required but otherwise we had a free run as though the property was ours. We had one issue with the cooking range (our fault) and when we returned after reporting it, the problem was fixed in our absence. The pedigree cattle on site were fascinating, especially when it came to their bath-time! An amazing place to stay which we could not fault in any way.
