A little piece of paradise Left on Aug 26, 2019 for a stay in Aug 2019 My partner and I wanted to take our 6 year old boy to the Isle of Wight for a week of quality family time and adventures so we wanted somewhere calm and relaxing to retreat to after a day of having fun (which you will have lots of on this island!) but not being to far to travel. It was a perfect location for exploring the island, we enjoyed morning walks along the beach just 5 minutes walk away and the beauty of the enclosed garden and its residents (beautiful birds and red squirrels). Debbie and Steve are such genuinely lovely people, so warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful For this reason alone, let alone the location and beautiful setting, I would highly recommend them and would happily go back there again (and I never like to stay in the same place twice). Tourist596464 Left on Aug 4, 2019 for a stay in Jul 2019 1 people found this review helpful Went back to this Oasis of Calm for a second time.even though I am one of those people who say 'Never go Back' I love this place,not just The Isle of Wight but this place.I would recommend it totally.The view from the little nearby beach is to me one of the best.Watching the coming and goings from Portsmouth Harbour through binoculars. Cruise ships from Southampton.My grandson loves the transport the Isle of Wight has(he's 9).Steam trains,Underground trains,hovercraft.We are busy with him but to come back to a G&T and watch the wildlife,this place has it all!!!
