Description

Our Family run holiday home, Ferndale is situated five minutes walk from the centre of Keswick, ideal for getting out and exploring the Lake District or just popping down in to the town.

The property in the heart of the Lake District boasts great views of the Lakeland fells, Skiddaw, Latrigg and Blencathra to mention a few. The generous plot means there is plenty of garden and patio space to use on those warm summer days. Our private driveway can accommodate two cars easily and there is also a garage.



Changeover Day Friday

Our changeover days is Friday; we offer 7 night stays starting Friday. Plus short breaks (Off season) Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday ( minimum 3 night stay ) Off peak nightly rate £80.

Off season minimum 3 nights costing £80 per night. Jan - Mar (excluding half term) Nov - Dec (excluding Christmas and New Year weeks)

Included in your stay are all utilities, Wi-Fi and bedding. We do supply a small welcome pack selection to get you started. Due to the the on going situation we will no longer supply towels and we have reduced some items from the welcome pack.

NO PETS (DOGS) OR SMOKING ALLOWED IN OUR PROPERTY.

Lovely view of the mountains

Close to town centre with lovely views of the mountains. We didn’t have any problems at all in this property and we had no need to contact the owner.

Great place to stay on your holiday in the Lake District

Before I went on my holiday to the Lake District I did read some other peoples reviews. I’m a person who looked through the petty comments and pick out honest sensible persons Reviews. I felt very at home in his lovely little bungalow and at the end I was sad to leave and could quite honestly have taken the bungalow home with me.I like the fact that when I booked the holiday i was asked to reassure the owner that I was a sensible person to rent the property. It made me feel that the man who owns the property cared about the neighbours.I like the fact that when I booked a holiday I had to ask and reassure the owner that I was a sensible person to rent the property. It made me feel that the man who owns the property cared about the neighbours.When I go back to the Lake District again this is the property I will look for first and hope that it still available.
