Fabulous Short Break!
By Margaret Doran on 06-May-2026We've recently returned from a long weekend staying at Bridge Cottage to celebrate a family member's milestone birthday. The location of Bridge Cottage is fantastic, on the outskirts of the town, you can walk in to the town in 2mins, and 10-15mins takes you to the lake. With parking included for two vehicles, we didn't need to move the cars at all over the weekend - it was such a luxury being able to walk everywhere, and it also saves a good bit of money in parking charges. The cottage itself was really lovely, very comfortable (for 5 x adults, 1 x child and 2 x dogs) and everything we needed during our stay was readily available. All the beds were lovely and comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bed linen to ensure we all slept well. We also very much enjoyed the bath (having only a shower in our bathroom at home) it was lovely to enjoy a soak in a hot bath at the end of the night! We were absolutely blessed with beautiful weather, so the addition of a shared large garden was both appreciated and well used! We returned from our days out and enjoyed sitting out in the sun with some drinks and snacks and our daughter and dogs enjoyed playing on the large grass area with some of the other children and dogs who were in neighbouring accommodation - it was all very sociable and a lovely end to the day!
Great Location
By Guest on 26-Oct-2025A very warm and comfortable cottage in a great Location. It had everything we needed, except for toiletries, bring your own soap shower gel and shampoo.
Lovely Cottage
By Paul Elliott on 21-Jan-2026Loved bridge cottage. This place has everything you ever need. Fire is beautiful and the main shower is absolutely delightful. The location is second to none.
Comfortable and so convenient
By Amanda Marray on 29-Mar-2026Location is great, two parking spaces makes life so easy. We don't use the car at all once we get to Keswick, local buses are just so reliable. The cottage itself is very comfortable, everything you need to prep and cook in the kitchen, two bathrooms, very nice sitting room for relaxed evenings. Pretty ideal really, we've been three times and will return.
A perfect holiday home
By Sarah Gawley on 20-Apr-2026The accommodation was all we wanted. We loved the bright and open lounge and kitchen / diner. The bedrooms were a good size and the washing and other facilities a high standard. We had all we needed to cook meals and relax after a busy day. The location is excellent, being really close to the main supermarkets, high street and with easy access to the lake and having parking readily accessible is also a bonus in the busy town of Keswick.
