Description
Gold award winning second floor Apartment 3 is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking for two cars and large shared garden. This complex was originally two large Georgian houses dating back to 1707 with two additions, Bridge Cottage and Bridge Mews added later. Apartment 3 is a wonderful, cosy and spacious place to relax for your stay with high beam ceilings through most of the rooms. Fantastic fell views for most rooms & easy walking distance to the market square. Many guests tell us that once they arrive they never use their car again. We are inspected every year by Visit Britain and have again been given a gold award which puts us in the top 5% of 4 star properties in the country.Unique split level open plan living space with a superb and well equipped kitchen and dining area. Large leather corner sofa and two easy chairs, wall mounted Smart TV, DAB radio, I-Pod docking station and solid oak furnishing. Step down into the well equipped kitchen with Siemens integrated appliances, Tassimo coffee machine and induction hob. Very well equipped with everything needed when catering for six.
There are three very comfortable, spacious bedrooms all of which have solid oak furnishings, superb linens and are stylishly decorated. All linen plus two bath & two hand towels are provided per bedroom.
The elegant master suite provides a king-size bed, high beam ceilings, plenty of storage including a built in wardrobe and en-suite with shower.
The second bedroom room provides comfortable zip link bed which is made up as two singles as standard but can be made up as a super-king on request (a small charge is made for this).
The bathroom is fully tiled and has shower bath with rainfall feature. Storage under the sink. There is a small utility area with laundry facilities.
There are two allocated car parking spaces on the private Bridge Complex car park for guest convenience.
Guests staying on the Bridge House Complex can also enjoy the large shared garden with children's play equipment.
Storage for bikes is available on request. Please note space is limited so please check before booking.
Keswick offers plenty of options to keep you occupied during your stay. For walkers the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trial which starts next to the Keswick Leisure centre is a 5 kilometre (10 kilometre there and back) walk along what was once a railway track. It offers beautiful views and is a multi-user trial suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you fancy something with a little more elevation and spectacular views, Latrigg and Walla Crag can be reached from your doorstep, and you can even tick off some Wainwrights! 10 minutes out of Keswick is Whinlatter forest, which offers a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities.

Excellent place for a Lake District holida
By Margaret Jones on 17-May-2025This is a super apartment with every comfort and very well equipped. Ideal location, close to town centre, supermarket and bus station, but surprisingly quiet. Two parking spaces and no need to move the car. Fantastic views of the fells.
