Welcome to Little Madeira, our beachfront retreat on Lyme Regis' Marine Parade that has been family owned and enjoyed for 45 years.The seafront cottage provides generous self-catering accommodation for couples. It has 1 dedicated master bedroom, a large living room with a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/dining room. The house is attractively and comfortably furnished.

The interiors have been newly revamped with a fresh kitchen and everything you need, including a dishwasher (it really is a holiday). They’ve thought of everything including lovely touches, pretty cushions and lampshades, quirky knickknacks, well-thumbed novels. All this in addition to heated towel rails and a fabulous shower room so the cottage punches well above its weight. No bland, beige laminated interiors here. The TV and wi-fi were up to scrupulous teen standards and in use whenever ours wasn't at the beach. Come to think of it, we’ll be greedy and leave him at home next time. The very best bit is the bedroom at the top under the thatched roof, where you snuggle down under crisp linens to the sound of the waves. If I could’ve strapped the mattress to our roof rack and driven it home, I might have. The most restful sleep since I can remember.” - C. Coleman, London, 2020
Perfect beach cottage
By Isla, Bristol on 21-May-2021Perfect beach cottage.Little Madiera is a beautiful cottage in an outstanding location. You could not be closer to the beach. Lulled to sleep each each night in super comfortable bed. Each room has an amazing view to watch activity on the water. The place was well equipped and we had a very pleasant stay. Leaving the car in the garage was a bonus especially when you can walk from the town to SW Coastal path.

The house is gorgeous

We had a wonderful stay, the owner was actually staying next door and was helpful and friendly whilst allowing us to relax in private. The house is gorgeous and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!
Simply Perfect!

Spotlessly clean and very cosy, the attention to detail is great and we were given fresh milk and homemade cookies to get us started. We were able to unload the car right outside the house and the owners provided a private garage about 8 minutes walk away,
What a find
