Covid 19 Update:
If you are a group of 6 or 12 or 18 you can still stay at High Cloud, as long as you take responsibility for acting sensibly within the rules and keep each other safe. We have divided the accommodation into 3 separate pods each with a lounge, dining room and kitchen, plus bedrooms. You will get all the facilities in each pod to yourselves with enough bedrooms to accommodate you whether it be twins, doubles or families. Plus you can of course meet all together outdoors. Because you are not using all the rooms our price comes down. Prices quoted below are from 1 Oct 20 until 5 Jan 21 and assume a 6 person household, a premium will be applied for groups of 12 or 18, please contact us for a quote.

At the end of a mile-long private lane in its own 30 acre site with lawns, woodland grotto, stream and ponds, heated pool, hot tub, huge games room and running track, High Cloud provides a haven for those who choose to stay and never venture out till it’s time to leave – others love to use it as base from which to get out and enjoy the local history, castles, independent shopping and the playgrounds of Symonds Yat and the Forest of Dean. Whatever you choose to do, you’ll always remember the time you came to High Cloud.
Comfortable and spacious perfectly describes the rooms in both Farmhouse and Barn. Big cosy sitting rooms, huge modern kitchens, light and spacious bedrooms, high quality bathrooms. The Barn is amply big enough for everyone to sit together and eat together, while the Farmhouse offers the opportunity for a little privacy too, with its own lounge and kitchen/diner – perfect for multi generational groups, or just for those who like time to themselves as well as time together.
Enter the gates of the drive at Highcloud and the view before you is breathtaking: the wonderful Farmhouse, with nothing beyond it but rolling hills and sky. With 4 bedrooms, a huge comfy lounge with Sky TV, a beautiful kitchen/diner and ample bathing facilities, 12 of you can sleep here (and dine if you wish) in tremendous comfort.
Just beyond the Farmhouse is the Barn, the heart of the holiday. With everything on one level, ramp access and wide doors, the Barn offers 2 linked units each with its own luxury kitchen/ breakfast area, a huge lounge with French doors opening on to the grounds and a dining table which comfortably seats 24. The Games Room lies at the end nearest the Farmhouse.
Click the gate shut behind you as you enter the drive and this 30 acres of stunning Welsh countryside is yours to enjoy without interruption for as long as you’ve chosen to book. Swim in the heated pool, relax in the Hot Tub, or head down to the Games Room for a game of table tennis, pool, table football, quoits or table skittles.Relax and dine outdoors, play croquet, badminton or football. Walk or run round the mown perimeter track. Stroll down through the wood to the moorhen pond and stream and head up to the Plum Orchard to pick some fresh fruit. Enjoy the sounds of silence.
