The Morpeth Apartment has been renovated retaining many of the original features and character. Built in 1908 as The Fox and Hounds Hotel, this beautiful 3 storey brick building on Newgate Street now houses The Morpeth Apartment on the second floor.
Secure storage is available for bicycles or golf clubs if needed.
Step out of the apartment and straight into Morpeth town centre with it’s attractive shopping area, bars, restaurants and riverside walks. Guests have access to their own sun terrace on the ground floor.

We are happy to accommodate a family but please note that The Morpeth Apartment is situated on the second floor. A travel cot and high chair are available in the apartment.

A special place to stay

The accommodation was spot on with everything required for a cosy treat for my wife’s birthday. Debs has meticulously put together a special place to stay which will long last in the memory.

Truly unique & exceptional
By Francis on 08-Sep-2024Truly unique and exceptional. There was nothing Deb hadn't thought of. The generosity of her welcome pack was really touching. The apartment was deliciously quirky, but also spacious, uncluttered, tasteful and practical. Deb herself was warmly welcoming and friendly, and there was copious helpful written info on all Morpeth has to offer. Extremely modestly priced, too!

By Claire on 20-Aug-2024One word “WOW”… it really has all the extras and more, just round the corner from restaurants, bars and shops and very central some fab landmarks. I even left my pillow which she posted out to me. Highly recommend xx

We’d never stayed anywhere with our two kids (4 & 1) and Debs helped with everything from the cot to extra bedding for a floor bed, just incase. Can’t rate highly enough. Thanks for everything ️️
