Sea Sounds is located in Seaview Court in an elevated position overlooking the sea, coast and village and is in the conservation area of Mundesley village. A very short walk from the beach - less than a 2 minute stroll down the lifeboat track.

Sea Sounds has level access from the car park, throughout the apartment and onto the private secure gardens and extensive patio. This means it is ideal for those of our guests who are elderly and may have some mobility issues. Sea Sounds is very quietly situated, yet the sounds of the sea can be heard from the west patio seating area. The beach and sea is only 2 minutes from Sea Sounds down the Lifeboat track giving you access to one of the best Blue Flag beaches on the East Coast.
So a 2 Minute amble to get to the Beach

Mundesley is a traditional seaside village with a Blue Flag sandy beach and promenade. The centre of the village has a good range of shops, 2 small supermarkets with ATMs and there are various cafes, pubs and restaurants close by. This is an ideal all year round base for walking, cycling and exploring the area or simply relaxing on the beach, people and seal spotting, or watching the ships, boats and sea birds go by.

20 minutes drive gets you to the Norfolk Broads and 35/40 minutes to the historic city of Norwich. The apartment is quietly situated with village and coastal views with the sea sounds in the back ground. It has its own secure private garden and patio overlooking the valley and the village. Sea Sounds is fitted out for all year round comfort and usability.

Dog Friendly - we can accept 2 dogs on agreement. The first dog goes free, the second will incur a £45 additional charge

The apartment is considered by our guests as very well furnished and fully equipped, as well as very comfortable and cosy. Real home from home, comfortable and cozy

We stayed in April for 1 week, with our dogs and mum in law, we were welcomed by the owners with a lovely cake. The apartment was very well set up, and you would not know that this was a dog friendly property. Kitchen equipment was brilliant it felt like being at home. Warm, beautifully decorated, with lots of little details we kept discovering. Perfectly placed for dog walking on the beach. The owners were fabulous at communicating and very accommodating for our changing requirements. The apartment is flat, so ideal for those with elderly guests, with a beautiful and private courtyard garden, which was a delight to sit out in. Shower room and bathroom were lovely, hot water and all consumables supplied on arrival with a just replace what you use. Mundesley has a number of small restaurants and a lovely place to walk the dogs. We used the week to visit all, and there are a large number, of national trust properties, all set up with beautiful woodland walks and of course cakes, soups and beautiful houses.

We've stayed in Mundesley several times before, but this was our first say in this apartment. We were delighted - it is ideally located, beautifully furnished and has everything you could need from a dishwasher, to a lead for the dog (in case we'd forgotten ours), there was even some tea, coffee, a bottle of milk and a chocolate cake to welcome us in. We only had a 3 night stay, but we hope to be back for a longer stay soon.

Wonderful apartment, great location & a warm welcome

We enjoyed a 3 night stay, and would have loved to stay longer. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully and comfortably furnished, and had everything we could possibly have wanted, including a chocolate cake to enjoy when we arrived.

Please don't all rush here as we want to be able to book it again whenever we want it!!

We have now stayed at this property 3 times and for a stay in this lovely part of the country we don't bother looking at other options. The place is always immaculate and also very comfortable with the hosts very friendly and helpful. This combined with the ideal location so close to the beach and other amenities make it the perfect place to stay. We will be back again next year subject to availability! Paul & Claire

Just back from a fabulous week at Sea Sounds with friends, dogs and family. All you could ever want from a home away from home with fantastic amenities.

Chocolate cake and provisions on arrival, great property, well equipped, two bathrooms most welcome, great wifi, board games, books, maps of local walks, recommendations for restaurants and days out, amazing location about two minutes from a blue flag beach, brilliant for dogs.

John and Debbie's apartment is fantastic. So spacious, comfortable and homely - we had to drag ourselves out of there! John and Debbie met us on arrival (with freshly baked cake!) and were so friendly. They provided us with plenty of information on the apartment and the local area. We brought our dog Charlie and she loved it. Mundesley is lovely with plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants within walking distance - and easy driving access to the rest of the Norfolk coast. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone, and we can't wait to return.

Village location close to shops, tesco express, post office, butcher, delicatessen,fruit and vegetable shop, cafes and pubs with food. Beach is just over the road down a slope. Country walks nearby and further afield Cromer, Sherringham, Holt and Blakeney all about half hour drive away. Apartment is really cosy and comfortable with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The Host John welcomed us with advice about the home and there are provisions to start you off with a delicious chocolate cake waiting for us too. The beds are really comfortable and everywhere is clean. We really felt at ease and at home whilst there and although it was January and very cold outside we were always very warm inside the apartment. Would recommend this holiday apartment highly and would return there ourselves again in the future.

Tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment. Four of us stayed for a week in January and although the weather outside was cold we were very snug and warm inside after our days out. The Kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and there are good local pubs with food within walking distance. The village of Mundesley has a post office a butcher and delicatessen amongst other shops and there are a good selection of cafes for light meals, coffee and cakes. Easy distance to Cromer, Holt, Blakeney and Sheringham for visiting.

The host John kindly greeted us when we arrived and gave us all the information we needed for our holiday and there was tea and coffee, delicious chocolate cake ready for us to enjoy.

Lovely stay in Mundesley

We really enjoyed visiting Mundesley and it was a great location for exploring the north Norfolk coast. The cottage was positioned very close to the sea and had everything we could wish for, with a great kitchen and a nice layout. It was close to pubs and restaurants and we had a very warm welcome from John, the owner. It was lovely and peaceful and a very cosy environment. I would give it 4.5 if I could, dropping the 0.5 because some of the seating is loosing a bit of it's umph, so we made use of the available cushions to plump them up a bit.(We've had the cushions re-upholstered and they've noe got loads of umph!)

An absolute Gem

We spent nine great days in Sea Sounds, the apartment is fantastic, a home from home. All of the little things you take for granted at home are there even milk and a cake for a drink as soon as we arrived. It is ideally situated for exploring Nolfolk with a wonderfull beach right on the doorstep which was just right for long walks with Bella my dog.

I cannot think of one thing that I would change in the apartment and will be booking again in the near future

Perfect accommodation

This property exceeded our expectations. There was nothing that wasn't thought about. It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully situated to the beach. The added extras for us were: a welcome pack of provisions, homemade chocolate cake (lovely) and super soft towels.

Also ideal for a dog. Fully enclosed patio area, walking distance from part of beach where dogs allowed off lead all year round and lots of dog friendly pubs.

Fantastic home from home

A really lovely comfortable apartment, spacious yet homely because of all the thoughtful extras provided by the owners John & Debbie. Description on the website is very accurate & not at all overstated.

John was so helpful with questions about what was provided (just about everything as it turned out) in the property as well as recommendations for eating out & shopping for local produce - all were spot on thanks John & Tasty Tavern Meats sell pies & sausages to die for as well as lots more . We will think fondly of Sea Sounds as we eat our way through the goodies we brought home. He was also there to meet us & explain everything to make our settling in so much easier. He could not do enough to make sure we would be comfortable.

It is an ideal place to rest & recharge as well as a base to visit the surrounding area both seaside & the Broads - a trip on the Mississippi steamboat from Horning was a real hi light for us & only discovered in the comprehensive brochure John provides on booking. Sunday lunch at Kingfisher cafe Walcott, dinner at The Ship Inn down the hill & fish & chips from Village Chippy all highly recommended.

Everything has been thought of a very well equipped kitchen and a fabulous comfy lounge area with all sorts of books games DVD's etc a huge TV on the wall & very good wifi internet.

We will have to return to make use of the lovely private patio area.

Also a very dog friendly area to stay.

Would definitely recommend this property to all thinking of visiting the area.
