Beachside in Bembridge is situated just yards from the beach this stunning ‘New England’ style house enjoys fabulous sea views and gardens leading onto the beach.Tastefully furnished, this spacious and luxurious home is perfect for families who love beach life and water activities and who are looking for that little extra something special. The open plan living area opens via bi-folding doors to a terrace which overlooks the gardens and the sea beyond, perfect for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, dinner and evening drinks while the kids play in large garden, which is enclosed with a fence and secured from the waterfront by a gate.
A ground floor King-size bedroom, supported by a ground floor shower room provides facilities for those with mobility needs and of the three remaining bedrooms on the first floor, two also have en-suite facilities. The 4th bedroom is set up with a day bed, which can extend to a double bed.
Panoramic sea views are enjoyed from the principal bedrooms, which boast covered balconies.
Beach Side is situated in a quiet lane and is just a short walk to the convenience stores at Lane End, with a variety of other shops including a bakery and butchers, together with pubs and cafes in the pretty and popular village centre of Bembridge.

Lovely, comfortable, well appointed property in a beautiful, quiet location.
By Neil on 12-Jul-2021This was our 3rd stay at Beach Side which still delivers the wow factor. We took our in-laws with us this time and they thought it was wonderful too. The property is situated in a quiet location and is very well appointed for a holiday home. The bedrooms and facilities are all to a good spec., comfortable and clean. We especially love the views from the lounge, garden and bedroom balconies that overlook the lifeboat house, beach and sea and that you only have to walk to the end of the garden to get to the beach. The beach itself is a mixture of rocks, shale, sand and stones and you can walk for miles in both directions from the house. There are no actual amenities on the beach so it is always fairly quiet. I can thoroughly recommend both the property and Island Holiday Homes, which we’ve used on numerous occasions when booking an Isle of Wight break. I would also like to thank the owner of Beach Side for allowing us to move our holiday back 12 months due to the pandemic, without any quibble whatsoever or increase in price. Really appreciated, thank you!

By John on 18-Jun-2013Absolutely beautiful home in a superb location overlooking the Solent and across to Portsmouth. We spent hours in the large back garden playing with the kids and watching all the ships pass by! Well equipped house with a modern kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for 7 of us. We’ll definitely be back!
Another lovely stay in Beach Side
By Julie on 05-Jul-2023This will be our 5th trip to this house in Bembridge. (and we've already booked for next year). That view is to die for - it's a home from home. Still has that wow factor, but there's a couple of things that just need that little bit of attention to bring it back to excellent across the board. The cushions for the outdoor furniture could do with updating, the barbeque left a little to be desired (although this should have been cleaned by the previous holidaymakers). The cutlery & glassware could also do with looking at. But all in all, we still love it and still come back every year.

A great place to stay
By Deborah on 19-Oct-2020Beachside is a wonderful place to stay. The location is second to none with tremendous views across The Solent. We were treated to amazing sunsets and sunrises. The only issue we had was some of the saucepans didn’t work on the induction hob and there weren’t many glasses for a family of 6. We struggled to find the travel cot....the office helped us with that, but maybe a note in the welcome book could say where it is kept as I was told they had had this problem before. Other than the above it is well kitted out and there is plenty of space. It was very a very comfortable place to stay and I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Great location near shops and within walking distance of great restaurants. Fabulous house.
