Frog-i-more is a truly delightful 2 bedroom cottage nestled close to the water in the picturesque village of Newton Ferrers in the South Hams, Devon.With the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, the River Yealm a stone’s throw away and a multitude of dog friendly beaches within easy access, there is so much to do that you will need at least a month to completely enjoy and explore this little slice of unspoilt paradise.
This delightful 2 bedroom cottage will be the perfect spot to stay a week or 3. Nestled next to the River Yealm in Newton Ferrers, water lovers will be in their element as you can just fall out of bed and be on the river in seconds.
The owners have really thought carefully about the decor of Frogimore and the result is a truly delightful, beautifully furnished cottage; a wonderful place to spend a relaxing break in the heart of the South Hams
Enter directly into the lounge, furnished with plump sofas and Smart tv, books and games, all serving to make it a snug and relaxing space to curl up with a good book or film.
Up a couple of steps into the brand new kitchen diner. Fully fitted with all mod cons including Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer with a dining table seating for 4 complete the look. The back door gives access to a side path leading around the cottage to the front.
Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms and a luxury shower room. The master bedroom is front facing with views to the river. Furnished with a king size bed, this light and airy room is so delightful you might want to spend a few extra hours relaxing every morning before starting the day.
Bedroom two houses a double bed and fitted cupboards.
The family shower room is fully tiled and has a luxury waterfall shower.
Parking is on the street or in one of the 4 spaces opposite the cottage, however these do have a time restriction..
Located by the River Yealm in the waterside village of Newton Ferrers, Frogimore is a must for those holiday makers who want to take time to relax and possibly mess around on the water.
Close to The Dolphin Pub, that serves delicious home made food, you may not end up using the kitchen facilities much.

By Ross & Irene on 19-Jun-2025Fab little cottage with all amenities in a great location! Pub opposite which was handy for food and drinks. Coop was also very convenient. We were very comfortable and thrilled with Newton Ferrers.

By Emma on 05-Jun-2025This lovely cottage is right opposite the pub and a short walk to the river which you can cross at low tide to reach Noss Mayo and two other pubs as well as the SW Coastal Path for walks It is a lovely and cosy place to stay and exactly what we needed with the nicest sheets I have ever slept in! There are two shops in the village as well as the pharmacy which is almost next door and you can get almost everything you need without leaving the village A lovely stay and we have already booked for next year!

By Lou on 08-May-2025This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Comfortable. Lovely location near the estuary round the curved from the local pub. Great dog walks literally from the front door. Would highly recommend to other guests and would definately go back for another stay! 5 stars!
