Yes Comments about this property Antony was extremely helpful from the time of booking onwards and accommodated my various needs during my extended stay. I spent 3 weeks in the Byre and very much enjoyed my time there - mainly working from home. The property is very well equipped and perfect for a couple, or a singleton like me. A great addition is the EV charger which made life much easier for an electric car driver. Tips for other travellers This is a fantastic location. A short if steep walk takes you up to Brimham Rocks, the other direction down to Summerbridge. Easy access to everything in the Nidderdale AOB and the Yorkshire Dales.

Yes Comments about this property Everything exactly as described - a true home from home. The access is a little tricky but the lodge is worth it. A really peaceful setting.

Yes Comments about this property We had a fantastic 7-night stay in Fern Crag in March 2022.The lodge is spacious, and the layout is perfect for families. The lodge was immaculately clean and simple additions such as the boot trays at the door and easy clean flooring in the lounge make it walker and family friendly. Despite the weather being cold, the effective heating and ventilation in the lodge ensured we felt warm, and cosy. It is extremely well equipped throughout but especially in the kitchen which has everything you could possibly need to prepare and cook for six. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into what a family needs to make their stay stress free. The location of Helme Pastures is perfect as a base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and we loved the woodland setting. Watching the birds visiting the trees so close the lodge in the mornings, the rare quietness and the dark skies at night made our stay a real tonic. Tips for other travellers Stump Cross Cavern is about a 15 minute drive and is well worth a visit. Very child friendly and informative. The cafe is also excellent.
