Description

Applecroft is a light and spacious two bedroom cottage, sleeping up to 5 adults, with a sumptuous wet room, fully equipped kitchen and lounge. Applecroft is also fully accessed for disabled guests and wheelchair users.

If you just want to chill, get some fresh air and escape the bustle of modern living you can unwind on the covered verandah and take in the pretty views over our farm's oldest meadow. A stroll around the local areas of Mawdesley, Eccleston and Croston will reveal pleasant rural footpaths, friendly country pubs, charming tea rooms and shops.

A short car or train journey opens up a wealth of natural and historical attractions. Visit the traditional Victorian seaside town of Southport and the galleries and museums of Liverpool and Manchester. Explore the rivers and moors of the Ribble Valley and Rivington or spot the red squirrels and migrating birds of Formby and Martin Mere.

Whether you’re after a relaxing break – or a week full of exploration – Applecroft Cottage is ideal.

A 3 night stay in cosy log cabin

We were visiting relatives in the area so Applecroft was in a good location for us. The cabin has comfortable beds, a great walk-in shower, and good cooking facilities. The location is very quiet. A nice place to stay.
