Cosy retreat – perfect after a day on the hills, or visiting the Peak Districts many attractions.ONE BEDROOMED cosy cottage comfortably furnished offering superb views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage annexes to our farmhouse and benefits from its own private garden and patio area.
Lobby, hallway, bathroom/wc (shower over bath), w.c., well equipped fitted kitchen with dining table and door so you can step out onto the patio with well maintained mature garden, bedroom with double bed from where you can watch the birdlife on the feeder outside the window, and upstairs is the spacious light and airy lounge affording the panoramic views down the Edale valley.

By Glenn on 17-May-2025Oaker Farm, what a fantastic place to stay. The Old Dairy is beautifully presented, very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. There are several excellent walks directly from the cottage; we especially enjoyed Win Hill circular walk and Lose Hill to Mam Tor and back via Castleton. Derwent and Ladybower Reservoirs are worth a visit with excellent walking trails. We will definitely be returning soon to this wonderful area and accommodation.

By Jill on 09-Sep-2024How lucky were we to find such a beautiful place to stay, it was simply stunning. We've stayed in some beautiful cottages over the years but this one was one of the best. If you love walking your spoilt for choice.....the Peak District is amazing. We stayed in the cottage known as the The Dairy and it had everything we needed and more....the attention to detail was second to none. We didn't want to come home ......and are hoping to go back very soon.

Hosts (Julie and Stephen) run an absolutely fantastic professional operation and will go out of there way to ensure that a stay at there premises is as good as it can be. Great walks, great days out and so much to see and do.
