Description

This stunning 2 bedroom property provides spacious accommodation for four people with front row sea views of Mounts Bay and a private balcony. The spectacular views from the master bedroom and the open-plan living room are all you need for a relaxing stay in Penzance
Private gated parking is available, however you can leave the car at home as it is a short (4 minute) walk to the train and bus stations, so you can explore the whole of West Cornwall by public transport. It is also just a short walk to the Isles of Scilly ferry.
There are two bedrooms:
- Master bedroom (bedroom with King size bed overlooking the sea)
- Twin room (bedroom with two single beds or a Super king bed) please state preference on booking, default is a Super king.
The living room has a TV and DVD player and broadband is available throughout.
Access to the property is via one and a half flights of stairs or take the lift and avoid all steps.

The flat is perfectly located right on the edge of the town centre, just a 4 minute walk to the harbourside cafes and restaurants, or take a stroll along the beach or cycle path to St Michaels Mount.
Penzance offers something for everyone; beaches, rock pools, coastal path walking, watersports, fishing, swimming with horses, National Trust and English Heritage sites, cream teas, pasties, restaurants and galleries.
Take a walk along the sea front promenade to the popular towns of Newlyn and Mousehole, stopping at the art deco seawater lido for a dip on the way.
With all 3 corners of the South West coastline accessible via a short drive, there's plenty to see and do:
5min - Marazion Beach (St. Michael’s Mount and the Giant’s Causeway)
1min - Penzance (tea shops, pasty shops, high street, seafront promenade, harbour, meaderys)
14min – Trencrom Hill (see all the whole panorama of the south west coastlines from the top)
16min – St. Ives (Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth Museum, fish ‘n’ chips, ice cream, art galleries, tea rooms, boat hire from the harbour, surf lessons and seafood restaurants)
18min – Gwithian (surf beach, sand dunes, 3 miles of soft golden sand, National Trust coast path walks, seal cove)
22min – Lands End ( mainland Britain’s most south westerly point and one of the country’s most famous landmarks, stunning views from the cliff tops and various attractions to keep the kids entertained)
23min – Porthcurno (beautiful beach and open air theatre carved into the cliffs)
60min – Eden Project (huge tropical gardens in giant biomes, named by some as the 8th wonder of the world.)

We have spent a lovely week away staying at the Ocean Penthouse. Such a great location and is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and public transport if required. The view was stunning! The apartment was easy accessible and ideal for our week away. The allocated parking was also a plus. Emma was a great host, very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend and can not wait to go back.

A great place to stay. Spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. A brilliant location for exploring the area. Having a secure parking space is a bonus although we chose to leave the car at home and use public transport. So easy to access the bus station and train. Would definitely recommend to others who like to explore.

Only a minutes walk away from the town

Emma was a great host and answered any questions we had almost immediately. The apartment was exceptionally clean, very spacious and well equipped, it was in a great location, overlooking the sea and only minutes walk away from the town, plus the added benefit of secure parking.

I highly recommend this accommodation, it was very clean, and beautiful. Very pleasant, we felt like home. Close to the centre. The view from windows was amazing, its definitely worth and if I go back I will book again. Host answers quickly and always very helpful.
