Lovely cottage
By Jennifer P on 07-Jun-2019Jennifer P Lovely cottage Left on Mar 2, 2019 for a stay in Feb 2019 We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Badgers Holt. It was our second holiday and we can't wait to book again. We saw the badger each evening enjoying the food left for him by the owners. The weather was brilliant for February so we didn't waste any time and visited our favourite places in Cornwall. It was lovely to come home to the cottage after a very full day and enjoy the cosiness and comfort of this property. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet location, easy access to Cornwall's beaches, gardens, and coastal walks. Thank you Anne and Graham.
Truly perfect, peaceful setting with the perfect hosts.
By irenearm on 07-Jun-2019A week spent at Badgers Holt over Christmas with a visit to local Portreath beach on Christmas morning to watch dozens of families swimming in the sea. Also visited beautiful St Mawes on a glorious sunny day. It could have been the middle of summer. The rest of our time spent relaxing in the extremely comfortable, warm, cozy cottage watching the birds antics on the feeders, treating the horses every evening with carrots and of course watching the badgers. Anne and Graham went to so much trouble decorating the cottage for Christmas and providing us with fresh eggs and mince pies with of course the obligatory clotted cream. Bless you both. Already booked again for June 2019
Fantastic 2 week stay at badgers holt 5
By shellreyn82 on 07-Jun-2019We have just had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at badgers holt with my partners two grandchildren, one is 11 and the other 8. Anne and Graham are lovely and very welcoming, we were greeted with yummy scones, fresh clotted cream and jam. Badgers holt is beautiful and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, great sized bathroom with a fantastic power shower, the bedrooms are a good size with very comfy beds, the lounge is also lovely with a lovely fire and comfy sofas and the garden is a good size and is a little sun trap, the boys loved playing swingball and football out there! The washing machine is great as it has a quick wash if you just need to freshen up some clothes with a 14, 30 or 45 minute cycle, we didn’t need to use the dry as we hung them out on the washing line in the garden. The boys loved having fresh eggs for breakfast from the happy hens and enjoyed meeting the resident horses. They also got to see the badges that come to visit each night for their peanuts and eggs that Anne puts out each evening for them. We really cannot fault the place, we had such a lovely time staying at badgers holt. It’s in a great central location so we also had lots of days out all over Cornwall. Highly recommended by all or us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you for having us Anne and Graham
Lovely place to stay
By Trek729528 on 09-Oct-2018We had a wonderful week at Badger’s Holt. The bungalow was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The fresh eggs and cream tea on arrival were very well received. We loved watching the badgers coming to collect their peanuts every evening. The property is in a very central location so we were able to visit lots of different places, including St Ives, Lands End, St Michaels Mount, and many more. Our favourite beach was Chapel Porth; home of the famous hedgehog ice creams. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks to Anne and Graham for their friendly hospitality.
A little piece of heaven
By mikeaY7712KD on 30-Sep-2018A little piece of heaven Left on Sep 30, 2018 for a stay in Sep 2018 We have just spent a fabulous week staying at Badgers Holt. We were welcomed by Anne & Graham and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was immaculate and well stocked with all the basic items needed and more including fresh eggs. It is central to visiting both north and southern Cornwall. We visited the Levant and Bottallick mines which were spectacular,Falmouth, Bodmin jail and courthouse to name a few.Every night we were visited by the lovely badgers, three on one night. The setting at Badgers Holt is beautiful, so peaceful but with Redruth a five minute drive away. A lot of thought and care has been put into this lovely holiday home. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope we can return one day in the future. Thank you Anne & Graham, wishing you the very best for the future.xxx This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
