Description

Set in an enviable position on the outskirts of Sandown seaside resort on the Isle of Wight is this delightful detached house six bedroom property.

Ideal for families or groups of friends of all ages, this charming property offers spectacular views from a beautifully furnished house. This property boasts some of the most beautiful views imaginable and within close proximity to the Isle of Wight coastal path. On entry be welcomed into a spacious sitting room, complete with a large wrap-around sofa, a TV for your entertainment needs and a cosy electric fire to keep you nice and toasty. Additionally, your children can hang out in the snug room complete with a piano, TV, beanbags and cupboards of toys and board games. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, able to seat up to eight guests overlooking the enclosed back garden with paved patio, perfect for gathering together over a scrumptious meal and a well-deserved glass of wine.

Fitted to a very high-standard, this kitchen comes with all the necessary appliances for cooking up a storm and has been furnished with everything you could want. Choose to enjoy some quiet time reading in the conservatory where there is a cosy seating area and table with chairs where you can indulge in board games and cards, or dine here whilst watching the spectacular views in the summer. Once the evening draws to a close, get some much needed rest in one of the six good-sized bedrooms. The en-suite master bedroom has a super king bed and there is another super king bed that can be separated into two singles if required. The other rooms are a double and a twin room on the first floor, and on the second floor are two more rooms (again a double and a twin room), but note access to the twin is through the double room. A travel cot is provided that can be put up in any room. Three bedrooms come with fitted wardrobes for storing your clothes and matching bedside tables and lamps for some late night reading.

As well as a ground floor shower room with WC and basin, on the first floor there is a family bathroom with the choice of a bath or shower so you can enjoy a warm soak at the end of a tiring day. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn so you can sit out in the evening sun with a refreshing drink in hand.

Located on the east coast of the Isle of Wight, this property benefits from many coastal delights with superb views across Sandown and Shanklin beaches. Set less than five minutes from the coastal path and Sandown beach, there really is everything on your doorstep that you could need. Walking and cycling routes around the island give opportunity to explore some stunning areas of the island. Thanks to the location there are plenty of restaurants and traditional pubs nearby. A selection of shops and supermarkets are within walking distance and perfect for picking up any last-minute ingredients for dinner. Within minutes is an enclosed playground for children and the National Poo Museum, whilst the coast has opportunities for all manner of water sports. If you're an animal lover, you will delight in visiting the Isle of Wight Zoo, Amazon World Zoo, the Monkey and Owl Haven or the donkey sanctuary - there is a variety of activities for all the family. Sandown Beach is well-worth the trip for a relaxing day sunbathing as it really is the epitome of an English beach holiday destination.

Magical stay!

Thank you for an amazing stay! You have thought of everything and it was such a lovely holiday home for 2 families - space, games, toys, mod cons and comfort! Fab hosts who go out of their way too. Great views, great location, lots of nearby attractions for the family too! We loved it and will be back!

A perfect house to rent.

Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and furniture. We had an unexpected welcome pack with clear instructions prior to arrival from the owners. A fantastic home and will definitely visit again when we return to the island.

We had an amazing stay and cannot wait to return. The cottage is ideally located and very well equipped - especially for those travelling with children. The welcome basket was by far the best we''ve ever had!

So well furnished with absolutely everything we needed, so clean and comfortable. In a great location 5 min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lively stay at 5 The Mall and close to the shops and Attractions.

The house was lovely clean and spacious downstairs. Upstairs there are 2 very large bedrooms and 2 smaller and I feel it was more suited to 6 adults and 2 children The only downside was the toilet seats did not fit very well which I''m sure could easily be fixed and this would not stop is retuning to the property. We left some pans behind and Satah the owner was very good and speedily put them in the post to us.

It''s an excellent house that is really well appointed.

There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, which was essential because of some rainy days. It is also in the perfect location for us as we have family in Sandown. It''s close the beach, high street, and a short walk to visit our family. I''d definitely recommend it, and we hope to return for a summer break next year.
