Great apartment in a great location

Great stay at The Aqua. Lovely apartment made even better by basically being brand new after being converted to apartments after the closure of the Aqua hotel. Apartment spotlessly clean,so nice having 2 balcony doors,one from the living room and one from the bedroom. Fantastic location across the road from the beach and next door to the Steamer Inn :) The only thing missing from the apartment would be a fan to help keep cool up there, we got lucky with the weather!

Beach Perfect

From our initial search we had high hopes of this apartment. We could not have been happier as if anything it was even better than expected. Easy parking opposite the property and on entering we were welcomed by the refreshing scent from the numerous diffusers in the lobby and stairwell. The whole property smelt clean and fresh. Very spacious and tastefully furnished with all mod cons and a sea view to enjoy with breakfast on the sunny balcony. The only slight negatives were the lack of egg cups and the rather small mugs. I do like a boiled egg with a decent sized cup of coffee. Well done though it was a great week at the Aqua.

Stay in Ventnor

It was great to return to the Isle of Wight and Shanklin is always lovely. We stayed in “Ventnor” which is the beautifully presented two- bedroom top- floor apartment in what looks like a recently refurbished block. Everything was spotlessly clean, there was plenty of space for storing our stuff out of the way and the view over Culver Cliff was to die for, especially the sunrise at midsummer! Island Holiday Homes came up trumps again!

The apartment is beautifully furnished beds and sofas so comfortable. Amazing views of sea. Only negatives having to pay for parking. As enjoy a decent cup of tea mugs we're so small. The owners need to buy some new mugs. We bought 3 to use while staying. We would stay again
