With an allocated parking space through gated access, underfloor heating and fibre wifi throughout the apartment, Sea Spray is a perfect destination for friends and family to visit all year round.

Living Accommodation : Sea Spray has eight feet patio doors taking maximum advantage of the fabulous sea views which you can see throughout the open plan living areas, there's a 55" Panansonic flat screen TV housed on a designer Calligaris media unit, alongside a DVD player and games console. A large corner sofa is a perfectly posisitioned to make the most of the dazzling sea views. The dining area has a matching Calligaris sideboard, which is full of books and games for the whole family, and home to PURE DAB/Bluetooth/Wifi stereo, and there's also a Calligaris table and four chairs. A high chair can be provided for our younger guests - but please do request this when booking.

The Kitchen : is well stocked with a NEFF fridge / freezer, oven, hob and extractor and dishwasher, there's also a washer / dryer, microwave and plenty of excellent quality crockery, glassware and ovenware (Denby crockery and cutlery, and Dartington crystal glasses), including plenty of extras to ensure cooking for your family and friends whilst on holiday is a pleasure, not a chore ..... and there's the sea view too ! Plus, there are lots of plastics for our younger guests.

The master bedroom boasts an Ercol king size bed topped with a luxurious Hypnos mattress and has a large fitted wardrobe as well as oak bebside units, there are overhead reading lamps, a flat screen TV, hairdryer and plenty of soft towels. The master bedroom leads into a fully tiled sumptious ensuite shower room with a fabulous drench shower and heated towel rail.

Whilst the second bedroom offers flexible sleeping, it has also been tastefully decorated to ensure its a great fit for children, teenagers and adults alike - the Hypnos zip and link beds can be made up either as two (longer length) single beds, or one super king bed - ideal for couples or friends /children sharing. There's a 32" flat screen Panasonic Smart TV, a hairdryer and DAB Pure radio as well as plenty of soft towels for all guests. A large oak Ercol wardrobe and matching bedside drawers ensure this room has plenty of storage for all those holiday clothes.

A high chair and travel cot can be provided, although we do ask guests to bring their own cot bedding.

This generously sized apartment benefits from two outside seating areas, on the seaward side of the property there is a lovely private patio area, with a table and four chairs, leading onto a communal garden and with stunning sea views - the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa whilst planning the day ahead! At the rear of the apartment, there is a wonderful rear terrace, which is a real sun trap - with a table and four chairs as well as sun loungers - this really is a great place to relax with a good book.

The apartment is just a short stroll from Carbis Bay station, which is ideal for catching the local branch line into St Ives (the train journey takes 3 or 4 mins and costs £1 per adult), and is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful golden sands of the picturesque blue flag Carbis Bay beach (note. the beach is at the bottom of a hill, so after a long busy day it might take a few more minutes to walk back up!). The stunning South West coastal path also makes walking into St Ives (or further afield) a real delight.

Carbis Bay forms part of the wonderful stretch of coastline known as ' St Ives Bay ' arguably one of the most beautiful bays in the world, it's no wonder it was chosen as the backdrop to host the world leaders at the 2021 G7 summit. With its own micro climate, this stunning part of West Cornwall has lots of golden sandy beaches, clear azure seas, lots of sub-tropical plants giving this area a real mediterranean atmoshphere and the special quality of light this area has attracts artists, poets and writers all year round.

Whilst Carbis Bay is a much quieter part of the bay, it is very easy to catch the branch line into the centre of St Ives itself where there is a plethora of galleries, eateries and a great choice of beaches all with a different appeal. Carbis Bay is perfect for those who want to dip in and out of the hustle and bustle of St Ives, whilst enjoying stunning scenery, and the peace and tranquilty Carbis Bay has to offer.

Carbis Bay has a number of high quality eateries, including Adam Handlings Ugly Butterly (Adam was crowned the BBC's 2023 Great British Menu 'Champion of Champion'; the Ugly Butterfly is bang on the beach and a perfect choice for a special celebration - as well as an excellent fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs.

Whilst Sea Spray does have its own parking space, the local branch line does join up with the main line at St Erth and all routes to Penzance, so a car isn't essential at all.

Note : No smoking / no vaping and pets are NOT permitted.

Home from home .... they''ve thought of everything

By Laura P on 09-Apr-2024

The property is a home away from home, Fay has truly thought of everything, and the view from the apartment is just amazing. The apartment is located close to the local train station, coastal path and beach. There are many places to see and visit, something for everyone! We have been a few times and we just love coming back. There''s a range of places to eat and drink within walking distance or it’s a 3 min stop on the train into St Ives (or 20 mins down the coastal path - which if you''re lucky enough you may see the seals, dolphins or even the whale on your walk). I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s incredible. Cleanliness 5* Facilities 5* Value 5* Location 5* Views 5*

Home from home

By Joanne Smith on 15-Jan-2024

Home from home. This year will be our 3rd visit. The apartment is spotless, has a homely feel whilst at the same time a touch of luxury.its amazing sat on the patio having breakfast looking out to sea. We loved being so close to the amazing Carbis Bay beach, although the walk back up the hill is very challenging as its steep. We loved being able to walk into St Ives. The Minnack Theatre, St Michael''s Mount and Godrevy Point to see the seals all well worth a visit. The Firehouse bar and grill and La Casita really nice places to eat. I would highly recommend this apartment if you are planning on visiting the area and the hosts keep in touch well and are friendly. We can''t wait to return this year.
