Description
Slightly away from the popular Padstow, it is still easily accessible to get to the attractions of the Harbour, Camel Trail and the Ferry to Rock. Good road access to make it easier for reaching further into Cornwall, for places like, St Ives, Lands End, St Michael's Mount, The Lizzard, Fowey, Mevagissey, the Roseland peninsular and Newquay is just down the road. St Merryn provides good access to the North Cornwall Coastal Path, with options of heading south towards Bedruthan Steps or head north towards Port IssacTrekara Cottage is available for weekly holiday let’s Friday to Friday, has 3 bedrooms, a king size with ensuite, a twin room and a single room. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and is child friendly, with stair gate, travel cot and high chair. it is very close to the centre of St Merryn, with all it's amenities close at hand. There are two pubs within walking distance and two restaurants also a short walk away.

Another lovely week!
By Chris Pocknee on 12-Sep-2025We’ve just enjoyed another lovely week at Trekara and everything was faultless as usual. It’s always immaculate and the standard throughout the cottage is top notch - it has everything you could possibly want and more. The Welcome Pack is a really thoughtful touch too - thank you! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. There’s so much on offer in the village too - stock up for a day on the beach, or a coastal walk, at the bakery and enjoy a pizza and a beer at the Doghouse at the end of the day. So many eateries to choose from right on your doorstep. The cottage is ideally situated close to the Seven Bays - Treyarnon Bay, Constantine Bay, Booby's Bay, Mother Ivey's Bay, Harlyn Bay, and Trevone Bay. All beautiful sandy beaches perfect for a great day out whatever the weather.

The location is perfect with good amenities within a minute walking distance. We have returned for several years to this area, it's a fantastic location and a quality stay like this just makes for a perfect holiday.

By Suzanne on 30-May-2025We found that Trekara Cottage was everything the website promised, clean, well provisioned for self catering and the beds comfortable. The house is a good size with nice outdoor space and while on a main road quiet at night. It was also in good distance from the various places we wanted to see with some nice local walks as well. Raffertys restaurant was so close and the best food we had in Cornwall. Lovely coffee and pasties also in the local bakery.

By Mr & Mrs T Harris on 27-May-2025This is by far the best house we have stayed in in St Merryn over the years. The house was spotlessly clean and looked newly painted with a seascape colour scheme. You will want for nothing in this holiday home. I tried to find something that was not provided and failed! The cream tea provided on arrival was a lovely touch and we had a week of glorious sun. Book it while you can as I am sure it gets booked up very quickly. We shall return.
