Description
Welcome to Trerice Holiday Barns, where we aim to provide a home from home experience to our guests. Set in peaceful, rural surroundings in North Cornwall but only 4 miles from Newquay and all of the fabulous North Cornwall beaches including Fistral, Holywell and Crantock. We are only a couple of miles from the A30 making us ideally situated to make the most of all that this fantastic county has to offer.The Dairy is a 2 bedroom (one King and one twin/superking), semi-detached, single storey barn conversion. We can sleep up to 5 guests with a child on a folding bed (although families with young children, often put all kids in the superking bed in the 2nd bedroom!
There is only one step up to the patio from the driveway and then it is all on one level making it perfect for families with young children. It has a large living room with a vaulted ceiling and traditional beams and is fully equipped with a 40" flatscreen Smart TV so you can log into your own Prime or Netflix, Digital radio/CD player and docking station as well as books (adults and children) and board games for cosy evenings in.
The kitchen/dining room is modern and fully equipped with everything you could need including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and induction hob and a large 6 seater dining table. All of the beds are made with 100% cotton bedding and large, fluffy towels are provided for each guest.
The luxury bathroom has a walk in shower with rainfall shower as well as a separate bath so you can enjoy a long soak too.
The Dairy is fully centrally heated making it great for winter breaks when Cornwall is at its rugged best. You control the central heating so you are not tied to a random schedule or temperature set by the owner!
Cot (bedding not provided) and high chair are available at no extra cost.
Outside there is a large private, enclosed patio with table, chairs and a parasol. This area is perfect for dogs and BBQs (BBQ provided) and looks out onto the large garden (shared with two other properties) with swings, outside seating and garden games. There is also a large shed containing beach equipment for guests to borrow (bodyboards, windbreaks, mallets, buckets and spades). The shed is secure and can be used to store surfboards, bicycles, kayaks etc. There is a parking space allocated for The Dairy.
The Dairy is dog friendly and up to 2 dogs are welcome free of charge. Please get in touch if you have more dogs as we can often accommodate this. We just always want to make sure that all of your group are comfortable and will have enough space in the property.
Short breaks are available outside of the peak season with flexible arrival days.
Changeover day is Friday in peak summer months with a minimum of 7 night stay.
All linens, bath and hand towels are provided at no extra cost. You only need to bring beach towels.
Central heating and electricity costs are all included in the price.
Smoking is not allowed in the property.
Deposit payable on booking is 1/3 and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Lovely and clean
By Carolyn on 05-Apr-2026Lovely and clean (wouldn't know dogs stay). Nicely decorated and laid out. So impressed with everything here. Small touches make a big difference, milk, large towels, all the extras in the kitchen, bathroom products, welcome tray. In all our years coming to Cornwall this is the first place we will be coming back to. Thank you as this has meant that we just need to think about what adventures to have.
We had the best stay
By Heather on 19-Feb-2026We had the best stay at the Dairy barn. I absolutely loved the style and decor of this place. It has excellent facilities, well equipped, extremely cosy, comfortable and all the little extras that Tori adds goes above and beyond to make you feel so welcomed and looked after. We took our dog and even he was looked after with his own basket of towels, blankets and treats! Location was excellent. Honestly I can't fault anything about our stay only that we couldn't stay longer!! But we will be back to enjoy another holiday ASAP. Thank you Tori for looking after us so well.
Great stay in a rural setting

A fantastic stay for our family
