Located in an elevated position with sea and hill views, the house is perfectly positioned for an 8 min walk down to the beach and town, and a 5 min walk to the stunning Jurassic coastal path at Durlston. A great choice for a Summer family beach holiday, or a cosy Winter hiking break. Landscaped garden with BBQ and outdoor deck with a sea view of the Bay. Private off street parking and easy access to the many top attractions of Dorsets' Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Recently re decorated throughout in tasteful coastal chic, the house has a holiday yet homely feel that you will comfortably settle into straight away.

The lounge has a lovely bay window seat offering a view of Swanage Bay. Open the window in the Summer and you will hear the happy sounds of the Punch and Judy show from the beach. There is a smart TV with sound bar and a two way log burner to keep you cosy in the colder months. The lounge is open plan to the dining room which has a solid oak dining table and sideboard with games and jigsaws.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cater at home, including large, American style fridge freezer with water dispenser and a second dining area complete with a high chair for little ones and a shower room off the kitchen.

A cosy conservatory to the rear offers a great reading spot and leads out onto the newly landscaped and lawned enclosed garden. There is a deck complete with BBQ and a modern table for alfresco dining, with yet another great view of the Bay.

The Master Bedroom has a lovely sea view with a king size bed, built in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed, hill views and large sliding wardrobes, and the second with two single beds. Both rooms share a bathroom. On the top floor there is a further double bedroom with a sea view, and bathroom with a luxurious roll top bath. There is a travel cot for families with babies.

You will enjoy the convenience of self check in with a key lock box.

Please note the house is in an elevated position atop a hill that means you get the wonderful sea views. It's a quick and easy walk down to the town and beach and a healthy walk back up the hill from the beach.

Perfect home from home

The house provided the perfect home from home for a walking weekend with friends. Although up a steep hill, the views were amazing and this helped make it really feel like we had escaped the city. The log burner, warm conservatory in the late afternoon sun and large kitchen all helped make the space extremely versatile, sociable and special. Joanne was a great host, friendly and personable and always offered assistance with recommendations and answers to questions pre arrival. Top marks all round.

This was a beautiful house, gorgeously decorated and furnished with sea views from the living room and two bedrooms as well as the garden. Highly recommended. We’d love to return.

We had a fantastic stay in Joanne’s house. It had everything we needed. Great location, quick and easy to walk into town. Although it’s a steep walk back to the house, it didn’t worry us, good to burn off the beers and food! The property was nice and clean, very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. Thanks Joanne, we had a great weekend
