Luxury apartment (4th floor penthouse suite) - superb Whitby holiday accommodation - with fibre Wi-Fi !This fabulous flat is located in Kenilworth House on Crescent Avenue, West Cliff in the historic seaside town of Whitby on the gorgeous North Yorkshire coast. This self catering property is 2 minutes stroll from the lovely sandy beach and promenade and 5 - 10 minutes stroll from the town centre famous for Captain Cook, whaling and Dracula !Walk through the front door and the secure private lift takes you straight to the apartment.
This luxury holiday apartment has everything you need for a superb holiday or relaxing short break ! It is fantastically equipped with the entire range of luxury mod cons and modern furniture !
The private lift takes you into the welcoming hallway and from there into the lounge with 55” Smart TV with freesat, DVD player, Amazon echo dot & free Netflix. The kitchen comes complete with washing machine, dishwasher, double oven, hob, microwave, filter coffee maker, “American style” fridge freezer with ice maker, sandwich toaster and toaster plus all guests get complimentary use of wash powder, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar plus lots of other complimentary extras for that perfect self catering break !
This fabulous holiday accommodation sleeps up to 4 people (plus child/baby), with 1 double, 1 twin and optional ready bed ! A travel cot, high chair, baby bath and baby accessories are provided to help those with a baby find room in the car for their luggage !
With packing in mind, the accommodation also provides ALL bedding, towels, flannels, tea towels etc. Parking permits are provided for free parking on the street and West Cliff car park.
A welcome pack of milk and locally baked biscuits also provided.

Summer Holidays:
We have also decided to take 3 or 4 night bookings subject to one small clause, the breaks have to start or end on a Saturday. We know things are tough so we wanted to try and help people desperate for a break but maybe struggling to find the money for a full week break. So for the primary school holiday weeks, 11th July until the 22nd August, we can offer the following:

By Tony Browne on 11-May-2026We were lucky enough to meet the owners of the let on site. You could not wish to meet two nicer people there local knowledge is superb they could not be more helpful. The penthouse met all our expectations and more a truly wonderful experience and local to all amenities. We were very surprised by the cost of the let personally I feel that they could ask for more, we have booked again to stay in September this year admittedly in the apartment on the ground floor.

Another Perfectly Dreamy Stay in the Best Accommodation in Whitby!

When my friend comes over for a few days, I abandon my one bedroom flat and we book this luxury two bedroom Penthouse for a real treat. Everything about the place is so relaxing and homely. From the moment the private lift opens directly into the apartment, all your cares melt away and you are in holiday mode... The owners have gone above and beyond to provide everything and anything you could possibly need. When you book and get the Contents List, it'll boggle your mind. It's simply the best equipped holiday accommodation I have ever experienced anywhere. From spare light bulbs, batteries and instructions for every appliance, to picnic sets, local menus, Christmas decorations and microwavable beanbag toys... You'll still be amazing yourself with new discoveries in cupboards on your last morning. Recently upgraded with new beds, central heating boiler, L-shaped sofa and the Alexa voice-control witchcraft, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day "doing" Whitby. The apartment faces east and is flooded with sunshine at breakfast time [other weather conditions are available]; we love our sunny, sea view breakfasts! And bubble baths at night, with the evening sun in the west-facing Master en-suite... just dreamy! Honestly, once you've stayed in the Penthouse, nothing else will do - It is the best accommodation in Whitby by far. It's our home from home, and even though I live ten minutes walk away, I am always sad to leave and can't wait to get our next booking made! Finally, if I were to pick a corny holiday cottage name for the Deluxe Penthouse, I think I would call it "Rest Assured". Sigh... Roll on next time!

Fantastic place to stay
By Janet Silcock on 02-Mar-2026From first arriving to leaving everything was great welcome biscuits and milk a lovely touch absolutely spotless had a call from Janette and Chris to check we had settled in ok. Loved the restaurants they recommended lots of local information provided also lots of toiletries available for guests to use . You really didn’t need to bring anything with you. Great tv system and the parking permits were a great help I can’t recommend this place enough we have stayed in both Sea View and Penthouse wouldn’t stay anywhere else now .

Fabulous Penthouse Apartment!

Janette and Chris work so hard to ensure this is maintained to such a high standard, the best apartment we have ever stayed in and wouldn’t go anywhere else ! Also there’s always milk in the fridge, bothams biscuits , toy, chews and poo bags for our dog and also as it was our wedding anniversary there was a bottle of Bubbles and a lovely card when we arrived 🍾🥂! The standard of cleanliness is of the highest standard too, no hesitation in recommending this beautiful apartment, It’s “ Simply the best” !!
