The nearest beach is 3 miles away, with Lyme Regis just 6 miles away this property offers the best of both worlds in terms of scenery and pretty seaside towns.
The Farmhouse was lovingly restored by the owners in 2009 having been the home to two brothers who farmed the local fields for more than 50 years. The farmhouse provides a fully equipped kitchen and dining room that can seat up to 8 people. A large wood-burner in the Lounge ensures comfort and warmth during those colder nights. Two en-suite bedrooms are situated on the first floor and a third bedroom (sleeps 3) is on the ground floor with French doors opening into the garden area. The ground floor also provides a large wet room(double walk in shower) and a utility room with washing machine, additional fridge and freezer. We also provide an impressive array of children’s games books and toys for all ages. Open the front door and you will gaze over the vast front garden and open field. Hardwood tables, chairs and sun-loungers allow a relaxing breakfast or evening sundowner. A games room contains a full-size table tennis table, 5.5 foot snooker table and darts board. Also, boxes of Lego, soldiers, Jenga, scooters and much, much more. The farmhouse is surrounded by open fields which adds to the feeling of delightful isolation, relaxation and safety. We also offer a beautiful studio behind the farmhouse that can accommodate 2 adults and small children. This would appeal to a group that wanted to extend to sleeping up to ten people. The property is accessed by a long track from the country lane. Guests have access to the whole farmhouse, wood shed and games room. The property has a garden area on three sides, the front garden extends into a field. A covered outdoor area allows for a BBQ or just to sit and chat when the weather dictates. The games room is adjacent to allow children to play while others relax. There are many footpaths close by to explore the area and the lane is on the National Cycle Route no.2.
This house sleeps 7 very comfortably with a lot of space plus we have 3 full size single mattresses if you want to use for children.
We also provide an addition Studio option that sleeps 2 adults and small children. This can be let in conjunction with the Farmhouse. Message for details.
