A lovely house which was clean and neat on arrival. Prior to coming away Sarah was very helpful in her email correspondence. The house was close to all amenities with only a 2 - 3 min walk to shops and restaurants. Would stay again and highly recommend.
We stayed at Fairoak for a long weekend, the terraced property is perfectly located in the town, and therefore easy to walk to attractions, shops and restaurants, parking is provided at the rear of the property. The house was extremely clean and has a quaint charm, very comfortable, warm and has all you need, a real home from home. The owner was extremely helpful and accomodating to our requirements, communication was excellent. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the future and have no hesitation in recommending this property.
We - 2 adults and 2 fifteen year olds - had a lovely 4 night stay at Fairoak. The communication with the owner before our arrival was excellent - we were provided with detailed instructions on appliances etc and lots of suggestions for things to do whilst in Windermere. The house was clean, spacious and well-equipped but its best selling point was the location. It is literally 30 seconds from the main street and it took less than a minute to walk to the bus stops and less than 10 minutes to get to the railway station. Despite this the street itself was very quiet and peaceful. We’d very happily recommend Fairoak and would stay there again if returning to Windermere.
