We could not have asked for a more comfortable and beautiful home, which catered well for a large family holiday. The view is absolutely stunning and so restful to watch the sea and actually spot deer on the headlands! Our elderly mum had the ease of a downstairs bedroom, whilst the adults and youngsters were all very comfortable in good sized bedrooms, two with Juliet balconies - perfect way to wake up to a stunning view of the sea. There is plenty of space, a great kitchen, large dining table and relaxing lounge. To top it off with great outside space, outside eating area and luxurious hot tub, where you can enjoy the stunning coastal vista! Mortehoe is a delightful village, two great takeaways, two pubs, local post office for your morning paper and we loved the little museum. You can enjoy costal walks within easy reach of nearby beaches. Our host was so generous and provided much useful information to ensure we made the best of our stay, we were warmly welcomed with a basket of goodies and lovely card. We would highly recommend and would definitely want to return
I can thoroughly recommend Belvedere as a luxurious family holiday house. The downstairs space really works really well with a huge patio to relax on and take in the spectacular view. The house was very clean ,well equipped and has lovely comfortable beds. Andrea was really helpful providing lots of useful information about the local area. We really enjoyed walking the coastal path and heading to Woolacombe for surfing. After a busy day in the waves we were then able to relax in the hot tub and watch the sun go down.
We had a wonderful stay in Belvedere with a mix of adults, children and the dog. Everyone's first reaction to the house and the view was WOW. There's no picture that can suitably show the location and do it justice. For such a bustling area, the solitude is incredible. Andrea was always available to answer any questions we had and to offer tips on what to do and where to go. With the SW Coast Path on the doorstep, wonderful beaches within a mile and quad-biking, shooting and wakeboarding further afield, the options are plentiful but getting back was the real treat at the end of the day. A drink on the terrace or a dip in the hot tub, always with the most incredible backdrop. So much more than a self-catering house, this really feels like a home.
