Within walking distance of the promenade, pier and a variety of amenities.Ideally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Yarmouth, this semi-detached holiday cottage provides the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful Island. Yarmouth is famous for its sailing and fishing, and still retains all of its character and 'olde-worlde' style. There are a variety of inns, restaurants, shops and galleries within easy walking distance, with the promenade and pier adding extra charm. The islands stunning scenery offers a variety of routes for cyclists, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts with some of the best routes available directly from Yarmouth. There is also an excellent bus service which covers the island, and guests can walk from the ferry terminal to the property. Beach 0.5 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Great cottage
By Ian on 08-Aug-2024The house was perfect for us, 2 minutes walk from ferry, shops, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable settee and chairs in the living room. Small kitchen with everything you will need for your holiday. Comfortable king size bed with table lamps including usb a and c ports (very useful). Large bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs. The weather was very hot but the thick walls of this period property kept it cool inside. There is a nice garden which catches the sun most of the day. Communications from Island Holidays was excellent. We bought a week bus pass for £30 to get around because the buses are excellent and run on time. Definitely recommend this property.

By Angela on 10-Aug-2023This was our 3rd stay at Grove Cottage, the cottage is old and quirky, based very conveniently for the pubs and restaurants in Yarmouth, there are plenty to choose from. We had a couple of issues but these are being resolved and the owner has said that the furniture in the lounge will be replaced and we will hopefully return once the issues are addressed. The bed is probably the most comfortable holiday bed we have slept in. The garden is a peaceful haven to enjoy a meal or drink in.
Coronation week at Grove cottage
By Christopher on 25-May-2023Our second holiday at Grove Cottage and will probably seek to make it a third next year ..... We find the accommodation ideal as a couple requiring 2 bedrooms and imagine it would also suit a young family, at ease with the fine furniture .It is in an ideal location within Yarmouth and for exploring some of the best features of the Isle of Wight. The off road parking is a definite bonus, but may be worth making the point that our Ford Fiesta just about fills up the space available.
A perfect holiday cottage
By Helen on 01-Sep-2022This was our third stay and we used to own a cottage in the High street of Yarmouth. As a member of the Royal Solent Yacht club this was a very convenient location. The cottage is charming, well equipped and comfortable. The condition was good as maintained by Leanne who provided us with a few essentials. Would like to return again next year.

The bed is one of the most comfortable holiday beds we have ever had. The cottage is situated within a few seconds walk of centre of Yarmouth, where there are plenty of pubs and cafes and a tea room. The off street parking is an added bonus. This is our second stay at Grove Cottage and we have already booked for next year.
