Description
This luxury apartment with a small private pool is located on a the 5* complex of Mar da Luz.This ground two bedroom, apartment has a large open plan living area and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and the twin bedroom has a separate shower room. There is an outdoor covered dining terrace and a small private pool. Guest also have free access to the resort indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gymnasium. Spa treatments can also be booked at an extra charge.
Cots and highchairs can be provided for £5 each per
The resort is located between Praia da Luz and Burgau, both are within a few minutes drive or a scenic walk along a coastal footpath. Both villages have beautiful sandy beaches and numerous bars and restaurants. Luz also has supermarkets, banks and a chemist. There is a wider choice of everything in the nearby town of Lagos, which also offers historic buildings within the cobbled streets of the old town and a lively marina.

Excellent apartment in peaceful location
By Zoe A on 25-Apr-2026I travelled with my husband and we were looking for an apartment with a private garden in a quiet location but close to amenities. We were not disappointed. The apartment is lovely with every amenity we could have wanted including free wifi and English tv channels if the weather should turn (which it didn't for us). The little garden was great for sunbathing. We didn't use the private pool as it wasn't really warm enough to swim in as it was only April but it was still nice to dip our feet in and sit by at night with the pool light on. There is an indoor pool on the resort that we used instead for a swim. The location is just what we were after. A peaceful spot just outside of town but still within walking distance. There are some very nice restaurants and bars in the town and a pretty beach. We would highly recommend for those looking for a quiet get-away.
Wonderful vacation

There was even an electric juicer, so we could enjoy the oranges of Portugal :-) The complex is beautifully maintained and in a quiet area. It's very relaxing. Thanks to our rental car, we saw many stunning beaches. The underground parking space is definitely a plus in the summer. Everyone is very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Portugal. Communication with the landlord was excellent. Thank you so much!
Everything as promised and much more
By Jorg M on 02-Jul-2016We (a family with two children) were truly delighted and more than surprised. The apartment lived up to all the promises. Moreover, it's in excellent condition, very well-maintained, and packed with many unexpected details. Thanks to the solid construction, we didn't hear a single noise from our friendly neighbors. The air conditioning, which we only used a little, worked sensationally and was virtually silent. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom even had a thoughtful little touch like a nightlight. A master switch allowed us to open and close all the blinds simultaneously – brilliant! – and of course, they could also be opened and closed individually. And there were many other very thoughtful details. The complex is locked from 4:00 PM and can only be accessed with a code. We felt extremely secure. The staff, the cleaning ladies, and the receptionist were all very friendly and helpful. Minor issues (a loose door handle, cloudy pool water) were resolved the same day after we reported them. If there's anything to mention, it's the somewhat small pool, which isn't really meant for swimming but more for cooling off. But you can see that in the pictures, and with the right ideas, you can still have plenty of fun. We and our children certainly did. And if the pool isn't enough, there's always the large communal pool. The location of the complex is also very appealing. However, you should have a car. That way, you can reach the small town of Luz or the slightly larger Lagos in just a few minutes, where you'll find supermarkets and everything else you might need. For us, the most beautiful beaches were the smaller ones in the west, but the larger ones in the east were also attractive and easily accessible within minutes. Great holiday apartment
By Craig B on 16-Aug-2025We stayed at this apartment for a week in August and really fell in love with the place. We enjoyed the private pool and terrace area, especially early evening with a G&T. The resort is in a quiet area on the edge of town which we preferred to being more centrally located. It's only a few minutes into town by car where there are some fantastic restaurants, we would highly recommend the dolphin restaurant in Luz. We would def go back and hopefully stay longer so we can explore some more of the area.
Great apartment, modern, clean and well maintained
By Jean D on 06-Sep-2024We have just spent a week at this apartment and it's a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The apartment is very well furnished, clean and well maintained. I would say a car is necessary due to its location but the trade off for having peace and quite is a no brainer. The property manager is extremely helpful and is keen to make your stay perfect. I would highly recommend this apartment and will be looking to book up for the next visit to Portugal.
Great family holiday
By Megan R on 25-Jun-2025We have stayed in this property two years in a row. We have 2 young children and find it ticks all the right boxes. The apartment is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The children love having a little private pool. The complex is well maintained and secure with gates that are locked at night. There are also electric shutters on the windows which is important for us as with the children. We love the location. It's extremely beautiful and very quiet. We have hired a car both times which we would recommend for getting about. Can't wait to return again.
