Villa Quardia is a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom hidden gem majestically situated on a stunning hillside in peaceful countryside, offering panoramic unspoilt views of mountains, valley and sea. The villa has no immediate neighbours and the pool and poolside cannot be overlooked, so it's an ideal spot for an all over tan and complete relaxation.
The comfortable interiors are stylishly decorated with quality furnishings and finishes providing a light, informal ambience. To keep in touch with the outside word Wi-Fi internet access is provided. Mosquito screening is provided at all windows, and is practical for letting the cool mountain air in, without insects.
The beautiful stone property blends naturally with its surroundings and benefits from a superb location in Pano Akourdaleia, named Quardia in ancient times, a quaint and traditional village, full of character, and just waiting to be explored.
This area has absolutely stunning scenery. The sea view is Polis, about 20 minutes drive. Akamas National Park with its 2 beautiful soft sand beaches at Lara Bay, and wild unspoilt interior famed for its flora and fauna is 20 mins in the other direction. And of course the blue flag beaches of Coral Bay and Latchi beaches are just a short drive away.
At night time the stars’ sparkle like diamonds, as there is no light pollution here.
The villa is just 500m from the local hotel open to non residents for food and drinks, and a cafe. Down the hill is newly opened Sto Mouseio, beer garden serving food. 5 minutes’ drive uphill to local tavernas, bars and shops in Kathikas village. Clients’ favourite taverns here include Yiannis, To Stekki Tou Panai and more formal Imogen’s Inn. Miliou village is downhill from the villa and has a good taverna too.
The excellent Villa Quardia owners Dinos and Vicky live nearby and are available if needed, and only visit on request. They can also advise when the pool man will visit, as they appreciate clients booking Villa Quardia like to be private. Their understanding of this, and their subtle and thoughtful approach to our clients is much appreciated, resulting in client relaxation and many repeat bookings.
Paphos, Polis & Coral Bay provide banks, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

By Keith J. on 17-Jun-2026Fantastic villa, in the countryside but close enough to drive into Polis (supermarket) and not too far to Paphos. Each of the bedrooms are ensuite, the kitchen has everything you need. The pool and area are great and private. We had a very relaxing 2 week holiday and enjoyed many meals out in the local area, great food, service at reasonable cost. Plenty information provided by Sundance Villas about the area, location etc. Superb welcome pack provided. I would recommend and rebook in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Villa Quardia and loved meeting the owner Harry and his father and mother in laws Dinos and Vicky, all lovely people and extremely easy to talk to. It was also very reassuring being able to contact Helen via WhatsApp which made everything very easy. We enjoyed Villa Quardia so much, we are looking at booking twice next year for either 21 nights or 28 nights. If possible, please cost for both. It is very interesting that I didn’t get bit once during our 14 nights at Villa Quardia but I got eaten alive by mosquitoes during our next 9 nights at Pissouri causing endless sleepless nights. I got five bites on our last night alone which I have only just recovered from! Had it not been already booked, we would have stayed longer at Villa Quardia. We are not going back to Pissouri!

By Andy C. on 24-Jul-2026If peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Paphos or Coral Bay is your thing, then Villa Quardia, up in the hills not far from Kafikas, is the place to go. My wife and I, together with our 18 year old granddaughter had a magical stay this last July. For us, the Villa had everything we needed with a great pool that was superbly clean. The outdoor eating area by the bbq gave a shaded area all day. The bbq itself is typical Cypriot in style where food is cooked on skewers rather than on a flat grid. This did take a little getting used to, but we still managed to cook up some vegetarian skewers for our granddaughter. For her, The Gin Bar in Kafikas was a major attraction! As well as the Gin Bar, Kafakas has some lovely restaurants and a cafe for coffee, mainly frequented by the locals. As tourists we were very much in the minority, but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. A car is essential and we hired one from Cy Breeze (Sundance Villa partners….very good) that allowed us to explore off road the Akamas Peninsula. Watching the sun go down at Lara Beach cafe was a magical experience. Thank you Irene and Lauren for a wonderful Cyprus experience that we are hoping to repeat next year.

The villa had everything needed and more than anything, the thing we were after most, it was peaceful. Other than the dogs in the distance that liked a bark at feeding time, and the litter patter of pigeons on the roof sometimes, it was gloriously quiet and serene. The wonderful hamper left for us was an added bonus after a late flight in. I would 100% recommend the villa if you, like is, need to recharge your batteries in a place that feels like you are a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life. By Claire M on 08-Jul-2025We have just returned home after 2 weeks at the Villa Quardia. What a beautiful villa and location! It was very peaceful, and the views were stunning. The villa was very well equipped and spacious. We loved the pool and made use of the BBQ in the evenings. We have used Cy-Breeze car rental many times on arrival at Paphos airport. Never had any problems and we’re always quickly on our way. Thank you Cy-Breeze! We can recommend the following restaurants: To Stekki Tou Panai, Kathikas Stone Lion Tavern, Goudi Island Beach Bar, Latchi Chix – Chox, Polis All served great food and were reasonably priced. We can recommend Latchi Watersports for paragliding. If, like us you are dog lovers and have a spare morning, please reach out to the Polis Pound Dog Rescue. You can volunteer to take the dogs out for a walk or just show them some love & attention. We did this and would recommend. Lastly thank you to Lauren & Irene. We have booked with them many times. The booking process and communications are great. We have already booked our holiday with them for 2026 and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

The communication, the booking process and paperwork, and of course Villa Quardia in Cyprus was amazing. The car hire they suggested was also first class with a car just outside arrivals ready and waiting for us, which made our escape from the airport a no fuss, no waiting experience. The directions to our remote villa( including junction and turning photos ) meant we couldn’t go wrong. Amazing location too and it's a lovely big house with a clean pool and great views. Thank you
