Welcome to Lyon Lodge nestled in the heart of Aberfeldy, where contemporary holiday lodge living meets Scottish Highland charm.This inviting retreat has an open plan design that seamlessly integrates a cosy living room with wood burning stove, stylish dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and socialising.
Perfect for couples, families and friends - and dogs are welcome.
The lodge features a double bedroom with a well-appointed ensuite with walk-in shower. The twin room has two single beds and there is a main bathroom which also has a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide a tranquil escape for a great night’s sleep.
Step outside onto the beautiful private garden to discover a delightful space for outdoor seating and dining, perfect for enjoying the fresh Highland air. You will be surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Aberfeldy, the Strathtay Valley and the River Tay: this outdoor haven provides a picturesque backdrop for morning coffee, patio lunches, alfresco dining and evening drinks.
Private parking for guests is next to lodge on driveway (space for 2 cars).
Chill out at Lyon Lodge or explore the nearby hiking and cycling trails, stroll along the Tay River into Grandtully, or embrace the scenic Birks of Aberfeldy waterfall walk.
For those seeking more adventure, there are many local munros to climb and Aberfeldy offers opportunities for fishing, golfing and water sports. The world-famous Dewar’s Distillery is also less than 10-minutes’ walk from the lodge (guided tours are available along with a whisky tasting lounge and café).
Aberfeldy town centre is only 15-minutes’ walk from the lodge and guests can explore the town’s charming shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a supermarket, deli and several bakeries to top up supplies.
Visit the Birks Cinema for a movie or pop along to town's community-run putting green. Absolute bliss
By Julie Sutherland on 21-Jun-2025What a beautiful lodge. I stayed here for 4 nights and was met with wildlife I had never seen before. My 12-year-old nephew wants to go back, his words "I love this place". Lovely walks on your doorstep but also walking distance to town

Beautiful surroundings
By Kirsteen on 10-Jun-2025Beautiful surroundings, seen multiple birds, hares, ducks, sheep, bats from all windows - definitely will be back as disappointed it was too warm (June) for the log burner …. lovely walk into town shops and restaurants.
Wonderful days at Lyon Lodge

The lodge itself is very lovingly furnished and cosy, offers everything you need for everyday life and provides plenty of peace and quiet. We couldn't use the beautiful outdoor area due to the weather, but we could use the small stove to warm up in the evening. For us, the lodge was the starting point for many beautiful trips in the surrounding area and we would have liked to stay longer. I can only recommend it.
Very comfortable lodge
By AS on 22-May-2025A very comfortable lodge. Tasteful furniture, comfortable beds and beautiful shower rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Lyon Lodge, lots to do in the surrounding area.We enjoyed watching the lambs from the kitchen window, and also the pheasant strutting about. We would recommend to anyone wishing to holiday in this lovely area. Many thanks to owner Audrey for being so welcoming.

Ideal for our family trip with dog, with walks directly from the cabin door. Very helpful and responsive host in Audrey. A great experience and we'll definitely be returning. Thanks
