By Joe Denman on 22-Sep-2025We had an excellent long weekend here. The surroundings are very picturesque and had some nice walks through the fields to the surrounding villages and pubs. The cottage was great, everything was as described and more. Teresa was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

A cosy cottage on a working farm, with sheep grazing right outside the kitchen window and a beautiful view of Wetton Hill.
By Helen Breach from Arreton on 06-Oct-2025A cosy cottage on a working farm, with sheep grazing right outside the kitchen window and a beautiful view of Wetton Hill. The Flowers family made us very welcome. Tips for other travellers Excellent walking - The White Peaks, Tissington Trail and the Dove Valley right on the door step. The Blue John caverns and mines at Castleton are well worth a visit.
We had a wonderful seven-day stay at this beautiful farm in the Peak District
By Ning Liu on 18-Aug-2025We had a wonderful seven-day stay at this beautiful farm in the Peak District. The owners were incredibly nice and polite, and they provided everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. The location was perfect for us—right in the heart of the Peak District, with all the main attractions no more than a one-hour drive away. Our kids especially loved spending time in the mornings watching and playing near the sheep on the hillside, which made the experience even more special. In the evenings, we enjoyed looking up at the clear night sky filled with stars—it was truly magical. This is a fantastic place for families wanting to escape busy city life, especially with young children. We would love to say a big thank you to the owner of the farm and her son Sam for making our stay so welcoming. It was the ideal countryside retreat for our family, and we truly enjoyed every moment.
