Description

This is a house with a warm and welcoming heart! A full renovation has awoken this house, and it is now glowing and ready to welcome you into its charming and romantic interior.

It is located just steps from the bustling centre of Old Antibes, set in a calm pedestrian street you have numerous restaurants and cafes just minutes walk from your door.

Entering the house from the street you will enter the ground floor which houses the kitchen and dining area. Exposed walls and beams are combined with a modern kitchen, similarly the farmhouse table is complemented with all the mod cons of flat screen TV with DVD player. There is also fibre internet throughout the house

On the ground floor there is also a separate WC and sink, also in this closet is the washing machine and tumbledrier.

At the back of the house the stairs take you up to the 1st floor where you will find a beautiful ensuite double bedroom. The ensuite comprises a beautiful shower, WC and handbasin. The bedroom has air-conditioning.

The stairs carry on up to the 2nd floor where there is a second bedroom with a double bed and a single roll out sofa-bed. Both of these bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans as well as reversible air-conditioning.

Also on the 2nd floor is a second shower room, with shower, WC and handbasin.

Passing on up the stairs brings you to the third and final floor, here you will find a double sofa bed, a handbasin, a small fridge, along with a flat screen TV with UK TV channcels. There is an airconditioning unit and also a ceiling fan for the warmer months.

The 3rd floor also has doors opening to the roof terrace equipped with table, chairs and a parasol for dining and relaxing in the Mediterranean sunshine.

The house benefits from double-glazing throughout.

This house is located in a calm and friendly pedestrian street in the heart of Old Antibes, all you need is just a minutes walk away. The nearest beach is 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of public car parks are close by if you decide to travel with a car, but you really do not need one in Antibes.

This is a typical provencale townhouse spread over 4 floors, so it is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

The ground floor living area is a great place to sit and relax around the farmhouse table whether it is with coffee and croissants or a glass of wine and aperitifs.

The top floor with the roof terrace and sofa is also another great spot, perhaps a medicinal gin and tonic or two, maybe popcorn and TV on a winter evening?

The kitchen is well equipped with full size oven and hob, a large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee machine etc. The kitchen is on the ground floor and with the 'snug' style dining area makes this a very sociable room, where you can chat, cook and relax with your friends and family. There is also a TV with french channels in the kitchen.

A selection of books and board games are also provided.

Excellent stay - i loved it

By Johanna Waterhues on 14-Jan-2019

I shared this wonderful apartment during my semester abroad with two other persons for three months. We really loved this house which is fully equiped and perfect for several people. The location is great… supermarket is around the corner and beaches, train station, bus stops, bars and restaurants are really close by. Our host was nice and really helpful. During the winter time our heater broke and after one Email it got fixed really quick (which is not standard in France). The furnishing is mindful and I can definetly recommend this amazing place.

Antibes 2017

This house is just perfect. The wreather was in May but the kitchen stayed real cool. Although only 30sec walk from the main square the narrow streets mean no noise is evident. Breakfast on the rooftop patio is a must.Beachesvareca stones throw away and the horbour...wow.... It was a perfect house for the perfect stay. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing location; qiuiet, but just steps from the bustle of everything in old Antibes

My husband and I stayed with two friends. We all loved the house, it's roof terrace and central location. We were always amazed how calm the street is whilst only a few steps away, through an archway, is the bustle of shops, restaurants and cafes ( great people watching!) underground parking too, if you need it. The beaches and the marina (with amazing mega yachts!) are only about 5 minutes walk. Picasso museum and the walk/view around the ramparts were favourites too. The house, linens etc was very clean and nicely presented. Lots of artwork and personal touches made it really feel like a home, not just " a rental". There are lots of books too :) The kitchen was very well equipped, fresh and obviously well cared for. We loved the dining area with stone walls and antique table. Plenty of grocery shopping just around the corner and the "marche provencal" nearby has every fresh produce you could want! The beds were comfy and the en suite beautiful. Having 2.5 bathrooms was nice and the air con on the top terrace room was appreciated. Jo, the lady who met us and checked us out at the end too, was friendly and helpful. We hired a car (3 mins walk away!) for a day to explore a bit inland but otherwise enjoyed walking and took the train (station is 10 mins walk) to visit Cannes and Monaco. Would we book again? Absolutely! Thanks for a great stay!!
