Description
No 2 is the perfect rural retreat - a charming 2 bedroom semi-detached former foresters cottage in tranquil location overlooking Loch Awe in 'Awesome Argyll'.Surrounded by open countryside and with a large private garden, our guests have found it to be the ideal base for exploring Argyll. Glencoe, Kilmartin Glen, Glen Etive & Glen Orchy are all within easy reach..
We are located on National Cycle Route 78 - The Caledonia Way and there are almost endless opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing (with permits) and wild swimming.
There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room and central heating. Quality bed linen and towels make it a comfortable space to return to after a day out. Alternatively, just relax and enjoy the views.
The kitchen is well equipped, for eating in and for eating out, our local pub, the Kilchrenan Inn, which is a short drive away, offers delicious food in a relaxed family friendly setting.
Ideal for either 2 couples or small family as second bedroom can be either twin beds or super king.

We had a wonderful cosy weekend and the special extra decorations for Liam made his birthday weekend even more special! Having the fire lit for our arrival was also welcoming after a wet walk. Hosts are truly awesome, so attentive, easy to contact if needed, and the attention to detail is fantastic. We always feel so relaxed and refreshed, always so sad to leave. We've always had a wonderful holiday here, and will continue to come here as often as we can.

Fiona and Andy are such perfect hosts and the attention to detail is wonderful from the welcome flowers and chocolates to the clear instructions for practical day to day such as lighting the wood burner.
