It's a large spacious residence on an elevated site with private stunning views of the sea and Mount Usher Gardens. Behind it is a forest. Great location, easy to access to Dublin City - by car or bus. A car is not necessary but it is useful.
The house suits a large group of people coming to Ireland for employment contracts or looking at relocating. Location is near motorway for easy access to work or tourist sites.
The price will depend on the purpose of the booking. Holiday let is more expensive than corporate let because
in Ireland, holiday lets are limited to 90 days per year per house. Corporate and excutive lets are excempt from this regulations. For this reason, I have more days available for this purpose.
The house is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to a selection of pubs and restaurants. Tinakilly house is a 4 star hotel and wedding venue also within 20 to 25 minutes walking distance. The house is also convenient for wedding guests of Trudder lodge wedding venue in Newcastle.
The house suits a family or even an extended family gathering/occasion. The large garden and play areas are exclusively for guests' use. Not suitable for parties for groups under the age of 25 years.
The views of the early morning sun rise is therapeutic. During the day there are views of the sea, Mount Usher Gardens with the colours of the trees that will take your breath away. You will see many shades of green from the trees and grass and by night you will see the lights of the village and neighbouring Rathnew and Wicklow Town. You will see the lights of light houses, boats/ships and fishing vessels.

This superior house is energy efficient, with a geo thermal heating system providing constant comfortable temperature and hot water on demand from a booster/pressurised system.
There is a high speed fibre WiFi
The house accommodates 18 people and is complete with 5 large bright bedrooms. Travel cots, bed sides and high chair provided if requested.
Gardens have multiple play areas for kids, and relaxing areas for adults.
Main bathroom comprises of a 4 person sauna and a large bath. All the showers are new walk in wet room like showers with great water pressure.
Modern kitchen complete with 3 neff ovens, hob, american fridge with ice maker, dishwasher and Coffee Machine. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The dining area has a long table suit 8 and we have an additional table to cater for an additional 8. The table in the kitchen can also be extended which can accommodate another 8.
The living area has 4 large sofas and many armchairs, smart TV with cable, and a piano.
Garden
Externally, there is a front garden and seating area and another area has a limestone patio with BBQ area to the side, ample seating to relax with alfresco dining. The gardens also include astro/all weather pitch and mature fruit trees, herb and colourful blossoming gardens and you can even create your own access to a 20 +acre woods at the rear of the property. The gardens have 4-5 different seating areas in the front, patio, elevated viewing area, tree house, grass area, all with stunning views.

Its a very bright spacious house perfect place for you if plan on a family reunion, a gathering of a group of friends or a conference. The large garden is perfect for younger ones to enjoy playing den in the tree house, basketball or burn off excess energy on the swing, play ball or badminton or football on the all weather surface.

Ashford also has a nice public park for picnics and a playground for mixed ages. The park also has a public gym area.
Shopping is also great, Dundrum for all the major stores, it is said that its Irelands best and biggest shopping centre, Ashford also has some boutique shops. Gorey is the best town in Ireland to find lots of ladies boutiques which is 25 minutes away. You will also find some nice boutiques in Greystones and you also must visit Avoca. We are lucky to have the Avoca cafe and shop in Ashford village but a larger Avoca handweavers is in Kilmacanogue and it has clothes, food, restaurant, cafe and so much more. The Happy pear is also nearby and is a famous place to eat some healthy vegetarian food in Greystones.
Day trips
I would also recommend other day trips to places like Waterford, Kilkenny, Belfast and Boyne valley in Meath and Japanese gardens in Kildare and of course Dublin city which has lots of places that you must visit. They are all within two hours from this ideal touring location. Dublin city and airport is within 40 minutes drive. Many of our guests have also done the cliffs of moher as a day trip.
We have lots of recommendations for places to eat, some are walking distance, some deliver food and some in Wicklow town, Greystones, Bray, Kilmacanogue and Laragh and even Dublin city.
Films
Ashford is obviously well known for the home of Ashford Studios recently filmed the Vikings. Wicklow has attracted many other well known films for the amazing sceneries, such as Braveheart, Exalibur, Veronica Guerin, PS I Love you and so many more.
Golf
This house is also close to many Golf courses, Wicklow, Glen mill, Druid glen, Powercourt, Brittas to name a few.
Spa
Wicklow has many spas if you would like to be pampered. Two hair dressers within walking distance. Some of the best spa's include powercourt Espa, Rainforest Summerhill, Well Macreddin. Wicklow town and Bray have the best beauticians Eden and Carrigg. They both do a lot of advanced treatments. You can also get a mobile beauty specialist to call to the house if pre booked.

Its a new house to the holiday rental market in an exclusive area but yet walking distance to pubs, shops, restaurants, etc.
Christmas in the house is amazing. We decorate the house from mid November with plenty of Christmas decorations etc. The house is great for Christmas with with amazing lights, trees etc.
