Luxury accommodation with magnificent views. sleeps 6, with a private 11x6m poolLa Lombardie cottage is a 19th century stone barn, restored to offer a high standard of accommodation and comfort.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and separate cloakroom, with a washing machine and W.C. The open plan dining area and sitting room, with a comfortable sofa bed, has patio doors leading out onto a private terrace. From here you can enjoy uninterrupted views of open countryside across the Causse de Comtal towards the distant mountains.
A log burner keeps the cottage cosy in the colder months.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with an ensuite bath and a twin bedroom with an ensuite shower.
Relax by the private 11x6m pool, with furnished gazebo and sun loungers and perhaps spot the many interesting birds and butterflies, that visit the garden.
Situated on the edge of a charming rural village, the boulangerie/ local shop is within easy walking distance.
The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the Aveyron, with it's rich history, fabulous scenery and many sporting and leisure activities.

By Sharon Walters on 07-Jun-2025Around Christmas we were planning a month away and looking for a French, well-equipped haven with a decent-sized private swimming pool after a planned fairly busy fortnight visiting several spots in northern Spain. We discovered Simply Owners last year and it was near the top of our list for finding that haven. And, indeed, we did find that haven with Simply Owners at La Lombardie. It was all we wanted, and more. So quiet and very peaceful but at the same time, a short distance from so many attractions. Beautiful garden with stunning views, large, clean and very well-maintained pool, spacious and immaculately clean interior, very well-equipped, and I could go on! Oh, I forgot…. Lovely welcome pack and very welcoming hosts who were more than happy to offer advice on all manner of information but remaining discrete. We found the advice on where visit to buy local wine particularly useful! Known as Mrs Picky, top marks for Simon and Irena.
