Description
First time on the rental market is this simply gorgeous 4 bedroom detached house in Bigbury on Sea with glorious sea views. Nestled within its own large plot, minutes from the beach with space for 8, Sedgewell is the ultimate property for a truly memorable holiday for all the family.With 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suite, 2 family rooms, fully equipped stylish kitchen, dining area and utility room, large private gardens there is so much space for play, relaxing and outdoor dining.
The kitchen/breakfast room has a triple aspect with folding patio doors to the front and is furnished with a stylish and contemporary array of matching base and wall units, with a breakfast bar. The freestanding American style fridge freezer has ample room to cater for 8 people.
Off the kitchen is the utility/boot room with guest cloakroom plus washing machine and tumble dryer. There is access to the rear of the property and the outside shower.
The spacious, inviting reception room has a dual aspect with folding patio doors leading out to the front, wood burner and plenty of comfy seating.
There are stairs to the first floor but this area is unavailable for holiday rental (the property is entirely for your use - there will not be anyone staying upstairs!).
The snug overlooks the front garden and patio area and provides further seating with smart television and a pin ball machine!
The 4 bedrooms, three of them with en suite shower rooms, are located off the snug. They all enjoy glorious views and are furnished with plush comfy king size beds in bedrooms 1 - 3. Bedroom 4 has twin beds.
Sedgewell is set in approximately 0.6 of an acre of private landscaped gardens with a patio running along the length of the house. The gated entrance leads up to a parking area for approx 4 cars.

Amazing house overlooking the coastline

The house was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could wish for. We enjoyed a wonderful family break. Patsy is a wonderful host and would highly recommend, we will definitely be back!!!

The place looked exactly like the photos and the surroundings were stunning. We had lovely walks along the south west coast path and down on Bigbury beach. The sea views were amazing and the house was stunning! We would 1000% come back again, the whole family loved it and couldn’t stop talking about how nice it was.

By Laura on 11-Jun-2025What an amazing house, very comfortable, stunning views and very close to the beach. I would say the house, views and garden space are better than the photos. Our young grandchildren loved the freedom of the patio area and lawns.
