Beautiful setting
By Lowing on 26-Aug-2025We were searching for holidays in Cornwall when we found Rivermead. What we liked most about our stay in Oaktree Cottage was that it was clean and beautifully decorated. We also loved: the comfortable bed, friendly owners and the wonderful bag of goodies (cream tea, coffee, salt and all the ingredients for the cream tea). The access to the river and relaxing garden and beautiful setting. The easy access to the lovely local places. Thank you both - you've been wonderful hosts!
A safe and protective environment

A romantic getaway

What I liked most about the accommodation was the well-stocked kitchen, the clean, cosy bed with beautiful linen, the very clean bathroom, carpets and furniture. We will definitely come back again, thank you.
A relaxing holiday

We liked that we were made to feel welcome, the cottage was very clean and comfortable and our stay was very relaxing. Everything was perfect. Please add The Bell Lane Fryer (fish & chips) in Bodmin to your recommendations in the Welcome Folder. The food was good and the girls serving were very polite and helpful. Very good menu.
