It is set in a little cobbled road with the Valency River opposite, and the famous medieval harbour wall is no more than a five minute walk away. The harbour area is lovely at any time of the year, it can be sunny and tranquil, or bustling with visitors and boats, atmospheric or wild and exhilarating - never dull!
Boscastle was a typical Cornish fishing village, and is considered to be one of Cornwall's most picturesque, with lots of quaint old cottages. Restaurants and pubs with good food are a few moments walk away for when you do not feel like catering for yourself. There are also lovely cafes, craft shops and art galleries, a good baker, small supermarket, newsagent, and an outdoor clothing shop.
The Cottage offers a double bedroom [king sized bed], and two twin bedrooms, lounge, kitchen dining room, bathroom with bath/shower and WC, and also a utility room with shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. All linen [except bath and beach towels] is provided. There is no extra charge for heating and electricity at The Brewhouse, and as well as the oil-fired central heating, there is an open fire in the sitting room [logs or coal can be used]. At the front is a a walled garden with lawn, a patio with picnic bench, a garage with private parking space, and there is a small south facing terrace area at the rear of the cottage.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, free of charge, as long as they are kept off furniture are not left unsupervised, and are not allowed to foul the garden.
