A Perfect Cottage

By Catherine S on 18-Jul-2023

We chose this cottage for its location, being dog friendly with an enclosed garden and having more than one bedroom and bathroom and having off street parking. However our expectations were exceeded as this was a spotless, well maintained and delightful cottage. The mattresses were very comfortable which is so important. The owner gave me a list of condiments that are supplied thus saving doubling up and kept in touch in case we needed anything. The icing on the cake was an electric car charger so we charged up the night before and got home without stopping. It’s location was so central that you were into the centre of the village in 2-3 minutes gentle walking and we loved the extra touches in the cottage - box of chocs and milk which were greatly appreciated. This cottage tops all other places we have stayed at and we hope to return again.

Spring Cottage - Bourton-on-the-Water

By Roxanna on 19-Apr-2023

Our family had such a wonderful week in the lovely Spring Cottage. Everything had been carefully considered in order to make sure that all guests were catered for. From booking to the end of our stay, communication from the owners was fantastic- so supportive, considerate and helpful. We couldn''t ask for me. The cottage itself was stunning - each room beautifully put together. The kitchen was really well stocked, with everything that we needed. The park at the end of the garden was perfect for our family and the cottage location was perfect - less than 10 minutes walk into town. Bourton on the Water is a beautiful town with plenty for everyone to do. The surrounding countryside afforded plenty of walks over gorgeous scenery. We had booked this for a surprise holiday to celebrate a birthday, and it was just perfect: an incredibly special place and we hope to return again one day.

Beautiful cottage in a great location on the edge of the village. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Lots of good places to eat on the doorstep and lovely walks in the area. Communication with the owner Lynsey was excellent and provided lots of useful information. We will definitely stay there again!
