Description

Swallow is a two bedroom barn with 1 double bedroom (with the option of a king size or twin beds) and 1 standard double bedroom. Cots for infants are available on request. Swallow has undergone substantial renovation in the last few years, the most recent addition being a new bath with "shower over" upstairs. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen including full size dishwasher, while in the large sitting room leather sofas provide comfortable seating. A 43" Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar is provided, together with a DAB radio with Bluetooth speakers in each bedroom.

Swallow is perfectly equipped for the many people who come to enjoy the beauty of Cornwall's winter scenery with a wood burning stove for which an initial complimentary supply of wood and solid fuel is provided . From the cottage, which has its own private enclosed garden with barbecue, you can enjoy fabulous views across the adjoining farmland. Free unlimited WiFi is available and there are USB charger sockets for mobile devices in the bedrooms and kitchen. Up to 2 dogs are welcome free of charge.

Central heating, linen, electricity and towels are all included and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate building for the use of all our guests.

Thank you for such a lovely visit Tips for other travellers Fantastic beaches on the doorstep,Widemouth and Bude There are delicious fish and chips in Bude at the mermaid . We went twice ! It was a very wet day in Boscastle which is well worth a visit . We popped into the wellington hotel for a coffee by the wood burning stove . Everywhere we went seemed to be dog friendly . The lost gardens of Heligan near St Austell are well worth a visit . Wear good foot wear and a dry day would be better

Yes Comments about this property David and Denise were wonderful hosts. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and gave us some great tips of the area. Thanks for a great holiday and we will definitely be back. Tips for other travellers Budds barns is located in a great location, not far from many of the top attractions in Cornwall. We visited The Eden project, Padstow, port Isaac and Bude. All beautiful places to visit. We will definitely be back to explore more of the beautiful local beaches and country walks. Tips- we throughly enjoyed the lobster hatchery in Padstow, it’s small but we learnt so much. If you pass Wainhouse corner, pop into the country stores. The Cornish pasties are made locally and smelt amazing!
