Description
Dating back to the 16th century, our beautiful Cornish Farmhouse is full of character and original features, perfect for groups of friends or family celebrations.
Larger groups often book the Farmhouse together with some of our smaller cottages (sleeping 2-7) and use the space in the Farmhouse to get together.
GROUND FLOOR
Hallway opening onto two comfortable, beamed lounges with slate floors. The large lounge has a woodburner, plenty of seating, flat screen TV and DVD. The smaller lounge is a cosy room, also with TV, great for children or a quiet space for relaxing. The large lounge opens onto a small hallway which leads into the dining room with large dining table, pantry (the former dairy, still with stone benches) with fridges, freezer and lots of storage space. The well-equipped kitchen has a range cooker (double electric oven), small table with chairs, dishwasher and washing machine.
UPSTAIRS
The stairs lead from the entrance hallway up to a long landing. The largest bedroom is set away from the other bedrooms at the top of the stairs and has an ensuite shower room, a double bed and a single bed. The landing leads to a second double bedroom and a large twin room, both with views over the fields down to the sea. Next to the twin room is a room with bunk beds and the bathroom. There is a third double bedroom with ensuite shower room at the end of the corridor.
The Farmhouse has a private garden at the front with barbecue and seating and also an enclosed garden to the side of the house.
Hilton Farm Holidays is a 10 minute drive from Bude and Widemouth Bay. There is a great choice of beaches ranging from family beaches with good facilities to more remote spots. Watersports, golf available locally. The South West coastal path runs through Bude so we are well placed for walkers. Tintagel, Crackington Haven, Clovelly, Hartland Abbey, Boscastle are all a short drive away. Padstow, the Eden Project, Lanhydrock are around an hour's drive.
